Amazing video and msg at the end ! My bf Mandinkan Gambian and I’m a Zoroastrian Persian (before Islam yep ancient Persians still exist) lol we were talking about how important it is to teach others and our next generation our history the right way- as sa child on sundays I would go to Persian school and learn about our rich history only to come back to school on Monday to realise no one even knew about my history I remember challenging the teacher when I was 10 when we got taught that the Romans were the first to have currency and built roads to travel! Lovely to see these kind of videos where our kids can easily learn bits of there history.

Well, now I know how to call the combination of, roughly, Guinea-Bissau and western Guinea on an alternate history map I'm making: Djallon. Thank you. Now I just need to decide whether to keep my alternate Senegal calling itself such or have it go back to Jolof.
