Quick little disclaimer: I’m well aware both Kanye and his wife have been vocal about his bipolar disorder in the past. My concern regarding his mental health are explicitly surrounding his most recent public statements, his involvement with Trump, and the entirety of his campaign rally, nothing before that.

And if the dudes who just turning 18 vote for him I’m literally gonna be so disgusted

When it comes to celebrities people’s human decency are literally nowhere to be found. Like the fact that they’re all just cheering him on and recording is scary. I literally laughed at his whole campaign speech or whatever that was. It was funny but also concerning because I think he was actually serious about it. I just hope anyone 18 or older don’t vote for that man as a joke because it won’t be funny. 😳

Ever since he had his episode in TMZ, it was clear to me and many people that he's not ok. He needs to get off social media and off cameras and focus on his mental health. Having the news and people enabling his dumb "presidential race" is only worsening his view on reality.

I had a parent who had bipolar disorder and that was, imo, a manic episode. It was actually fairly low level because he didn't seem to be completely grandiose in explaining why he would be the best President ever or anything like that, but it seemed very familiar to me. The disorganized thoughts, the extreme emotion, the unpredictability of what he was going to say or do next, as if he himself did not know, the possible paranoia evidenced by his wearing what seems to be a bullet-proof vest, and that he was not on a stage above the crowd so that everyone could see him, it all indicated a person having a manic episode to me. I have read that he doesn't like to take medication and that is extremely worrisome to me because what I see is a man who is not well, who needs to be hospitalized to get a baseline on his chemical, hormonal and emotional state, and then be prescribed medicines that will help him even out his emotions and level out his thinking so that he can be a happier more productive person. But finding the right medications in the proper dosages for each person takes time , and I feel very pessimistic about Kanye agreeing to cooperate with that process and then continue the medication regimen. I feel sad for him and his family.

this speaks volumes of how there is a lack of awareness when it comes to mental health. in the 2010s mental health awareness improved. in 2020 though, i feel like it's taken a step back. a lot of people are unaware how deeper mental health disorders affect a person. depression and anxiety doesn't even scratch the surface of mental disorders. depression/anxiety and deep mental disorders are linked. bipolar disorder has different types. bipolar disorder I, II and Cyclothymic. it is common for people with bipolar disorder to also have an anxiety disorder. i personally dislike kanye for the misinformation and political alignment he has chosen. he needs to be held responsible for his misuse of his platform. i have CPTSD and i hold myself accountable for my symptoms. i am aware and try my best to be. the practice of being aware happened with intense therapy and time. the public does not have adequate information and training to spot symptoms of complex mental disorders. that's where the U.S education system is failing people. that's where the U.S government is failing people. i've been to the UK and they have flyers and posters of mental health resources. the NHS has its flaws and one thing they do right if you compare it to the US is having accessible mental health resources. mental health is taken more seriously in the UK than in the US. kanye's situation is messed up and instead of pitying him, we need to talk about the bigger issue: lack of awareness for mental disorders like bipolar disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, dissociative/depersonalization disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, etc. we need to talk about different types of therapy for these disorders like EMDR, hypnosis, TMS, etc.

It honestly triggered me because it was exactly what my mother would act like when she was having manic episodes. I hope he gets help with his help cause he is very obviously hurting himself and his family without having control of his mental stability.

I love your video. I have bipolar and I can honestly tell you he was in a mixed state episode. I found him absolutely frightening. I was very disturbed by his I distance that people shut up and listen to him. He reminds me of trump. I don’t think it was a publicity stunt at all.

Death can NOT be the threshold between people being able to sympathize or being viewed as entertainment. Period. If lord forbid he were to pass, the so many people (who were laughing at his expense) would say “how tragic. So much talent. I wish he got the help he needed”. There is something wrong with that. Why do people have to die for their humanity to be seen, for their pain to be sympathized with, for their suffering to be taken seriously. If you can’t watch or find it hard to view Amy’s last performance, it should be hard for you to watch this man fight through his mental illness. Not everything on your screen is a joke

I think bringing up his mental state is definitely unfair...a person talking about a personal testimony and getting emotional about it shouldn’t be considered weak or mental...when he talked about Harriet what he said wasn’t incorrect he just didn’t elaborate on what he meant because he didn’t get a chance to...I don’t agree with many things Kanye has to say but I’m willing to listen. Also everything he says isnt far fetched...I think society and the government plays a tremendous role in making it seem as such

His family should have been asking is he good. He should be getting help. Hes very high on the bipolar spectrum, the kind that has schizophrenia mixed in the highs. Probably has borderline personality too- which is usually misconceived as narcissism. He desperately needs help. Harriet Tubman freed the slaves and gave them rights but still they're slaves to the white man. I've read a lot of african literature as my bf is from south africa. I think that's what hes getting at but the african people word it alot better.

For the first time ever I feel sorry for Kim. Abortion is her choice and for him to put her on blast like that... I wonder if they'll divorce now. Also, I feel like he can be sad that North nearly wasn't born AND support Kim's choices in the same breath, those two actions can coexist.
