FILM DESCRIPTION:
Cobra Kai karate instructor John Kreese (Martin Kove) is still brooding over the defeat handed to him by Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Mr. Miyagi (Noriyuki "Pat" Morita). With his slimy partner, Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith), Kreese plans an intricate payback that involves hiring a mean-spirited ringer (Sean Kanan) to rob Daniel of his championship title. When Mr. Miyagi refuses to train Daniel, even under threat, the boy makes the mistake of turning to Terry for guidance.

No, he just hated Daniel. And even that may not necessarily be true, it was all just business to Barnes. The one who really wanted Daniel to suffer was Kreese, because he blamed Daniel and Miyagi for ruining his business. But even that was irrational because Kreese actually lost his business for going psychotic on his students for not winning and trying to strangle Johnny. Kreese was always deranged, except for when he was younger, according to Cobra Kai, that series made young Kreese too nice and caring of a person, it didn't match with the heartless ruthless way he was when he was older. It would've fit better if they made that bully at the diner to be young Kreese, because he was heartless and menacing even then when he was young, and he was a much better match to how Kreese was when he was older.

I love all the movies, I love Mr Miyagi. BUT I don't agree that he was mad at Daniel for signing. What was Daniel supposed to do? Let him and his friend die and drown?

He wasn't mad at Daniel for signing, Miyagi knew that Barnes wasn't going to leave Daniel alone until he did.

True. The fight scenes aren't very good but the plot is good. I think most people don't like it because some of the points require some thinking to understand, which most people fail at.

(And Daniel tries to climbs without the rope, but he ends falling and injuring gravely his back.) Mike Barnes: "You were the chosen one. It was said that you'll participates in the tournament, not refuses it. You're suppose to bring me a lot incomes, not leave me in bankrupt." Daniel: "I HATE YOU." Mike Barnes: "You were like my worst enemy, i really hated you." (And the tide rises, leaving Daniel and Jessica dealing with the waves.)

I love the tree and its story and I felt awful watching it damaged. However it's recovered and it shared a very important message about strenght, what an amazing franchise Karate Kid is 💕💕
