Christopher Lee knew ancient Greek. When he come to Greece the reporters gave him to read a Greek newspaper in modern Greek and asked him what he understood. He actually said what the newspaper was talking about. Everyone was astonished.
Besides the Inspector's incredibly crappy acting, this was interesting & enjoyable! Him pointing where the cops should go was so overdone it was almost weird? I was waiting for a laugh track to play. The shoeshine boy appeared to be smartest one in the movie too.
Haha…except for Lee, the “acting” is atrociously horrid. An interesting strange concept. Lee, as always, is a pro & wonderful despite the horrible cast around him. Can’t decide if the writing is terrible or just the delivery by everyone else is the problem. Probably both. Lee must have needed repairs on his pool the week he collected this paycheck. 😆 A fun watch none the less. 👍🏻
He lived so damn long, long after any meaningful usefulness ... I actually there for a minute started to wonder if Lee really was a vampire! Him and ole granny man Peter Cushing: I always fancied them both to be bargain basement Boris Karloff type wannabes.
