Canadian here. Ontario is probably the most LGBT+ friendly place on earth. Canada is infamous for granting refugee status to people living in countries where they could be persecuted for being gay. It’s a reason why Toronto has such a high gay population. Keffels crying about being discriminated against in London Ontario is like a Jewish person crying about being discriminated against in Israel.

I grew up in Kitchener, Onario and moved to Toronto. Keffals blocked me on Twitter because I know how the legal system works her and I called out the obvious holes in her story. I've had to deal with it on the side of being a victim so I'm well aware that we are actually not allowed to bust down people's doors brandishing weapons here. It's extremely hard to get a warrant for that even when it's the case of a violent person. They have to wait for them to answer the door or leave. My uncle is also quite a sketchy figure and has had the swat team bust in many times. It's actually rare they come in with weapons. This is canada and unless they have suspicion (valid, concrete suspicion) to assume they have guns they know they likely don't. That was my first red flag. She used a lot of tropes that are common in America because most people don't know better about how things actually work here. I also pointed out other things like how it's actually pretty hard to sue someone in Canada compared to the USA. A lawsuit against a police department is a huge feat here. We also have a third party organization that investigates them. The police do not investigate themselves here. It was determined they weren't in thr wrong and that they will update their filing system ti make sure they don't dead name people by accident. The court will look at that and say ok, they agreed to rectify the one issue, what are you looking for her? There's no reason for her to be awarded any money for this because it didn't affect her in a way that she lost money. Even Canadian insurance companies cover gender related costs. It's highly unlikely the entire police force in London, ON of all places is this bigoted. We have great systems for human rights complaints too. So many things didn't add up and I spent so long fighting on the internet trying to convince people that canada is NOT America.

After hearing the experience of a few trans friends, I support access to gender affirming care in children like puberty blockers BUT not homemade bullshit like this. It needs to be done properly because there's actual health risks unrelated to gender. I had a friend start transitioning in their 20s and they had to stop after coming out to their VERY supportive parents, finding out heart conditions run in their family, going to the doctor to see if it's safe to take estrogen and being told it's too risky. As a cis woman on birth control for endometriosis, estrogen is risky for us as well. Increases our chances of strokes and clots. I was taken off it immediately when I developed daily migraines and vision problems as that indicates I'm at a much higher risk of having a stroke while taking estrogen. It also means when I hit menopause, I won't be able to take estrogen as to minimise the impact it has on me (HRT is common in menopausal women) Keffals is not a doctor. She is some random person on the internet. She could be putting lives at risk. Again, I'm in support of young trans people having access to gender affirming care, but not like this. This is dangerous.

I read the keffals thread a couple years ago and one of the hormone producers got doxed. The Loli packaging that was shown in this video. The maker went under the name otonoko and literally made it out of some sketchy apartment in I believe Brazil or maybe South American country ( it was awhile ago when I read all this) there was pictures of their setup and it was janky af. They had no proper equipment and I believe they were sterilizing stuff in a pressure cooker. The otonoko guy got doxed and his info sent to gov / police. Guy also posted guides on how to diy the stuff yourself. Pretty sure he was using cow piss or horse piss and refining it from that. Pretty fucking sketchy.

I'm pretty liberal and people can do what they want with their bodies, but not kids. People like to say puberty blockers are reversible but its not the truth. Also kids that take them suffer from a whole host of problems later in life like bone density , oesterioprosis(spelling fuck lol) and other issues. I'm against the trans movement being pushed on confused kids. As adults I care less but still think there are a host of risks involved that many are not informed of.
I had a friend of 20 years stop being my friend because of me calling Vaush a Pedo Horse Freak. He brought my son into the argument, who is 2.
