The Keiko Project follows Keiko the killer whale and the star of Free Willy as he makes his return to the wild in his home waters of Iceland. We'll go on a journey with his trainers and scientists who were there from the very beginning of the release project. This intriguing tale uncovers their struggle in the ensuing confrontation with the captive marine mammal industry, its experts, the logistics, and the media.

Idk about anyone else but this certainly melts the heart, that Keiko was able to do some of those signature tricks from the movie one last time. RIP Free Keiko, the big whale that could.

Just for the sake of entertainment. Most male whales have suffered the curved dorsal fin, even the more noteworthy ones like Keiko and Tillikum.

If your trying to free him why are you still making him do tricks ??? That makes no sense !

They have to keep him active and exercised, this is in the sea pen during the winter, they can't take him out to the wild whales because they only come during the summer.
