I already knew almost all the stuff discussed in the video, but Mr. Blackledge's presentation was so pleasant, enthusiastic, and entertaining that I watched the whole thing from start to finish. I understand that one goal is to keep the video from being too long, but the "keyboard" discussion got short-changed. There is a lot more to keyboards than was discussed. One of the most important differences is the separation of keyboards into those that are sound generators and those that are software controllers (MIDI controllers; where the sound is not generated by hardware in the unit, but by software in a computer or other device). That would have been a nice discussion to have added to this video. But it was a very nice video, nonetheless.

His enthusiasm is what made me stick to this video. Lol

Actually well explained. The first guy that explains piano to non-musical folks with enthusiasm, clarity and knowledge without sounding pretentious or looking down.

Thank you so much for making this video! I have a small 61 key touch sensitive keyboard. I was wondering if my keyboard was faulty because when I would enable the touch, it would be kind of difficult to maintain the sound at a constant volume. But now I know that I definitely need to upgrade soon to a digital!
