This video is awesome... you just explained how I play in my sessions. I play defensively until I realize my opponents tendencies and mistakes, and then I pounce... If they make corrections to their mistakes, I go back to playing defensively until I find another exploit.

A lot of valuable information here. I had to rewatch a couple of parts to fully digest everything, and I still don't think I understand 100% yet. Will watch again in the future. Thank you, Tombos21!

I have been playing holdem online with play money for 6 months and watching poker videos. I have realized that I’m only scratching the surface. It’s like I learned basic arithmetic and got slapped in the face with the Riemann Hypothesis….yes I did just google the most complicated math problem to make my point.

Poker strategy is much deeper than most people think. That's a good thing, because it's where your edge comes from! We have many articles that explain the more basic concepts on our blog: blog.gtowizard.com/

Literally one to watch over and over until it is lodged in your head. So useful for newer GTO apprentices (wizards! ha) to apply their exploits etc

So im one of those that semi bluffs my flush draws the thing is now i can bluff as if i have the flush when i only have a mid pair or top pair. And opponent will fold as if i have flush. I rather they fold then i realize the money because the amount folds i get is real money i don’t have to worry about showdown. Even if u check ur draws and then when the flush comes u still not gonna get paid out so u might as well build up the pot a bit sometimes to make the money when u hit the flush or u just bluff them out of pot

I watched that hand many times as a Garrett fan and in the end I believe she's an idiot who dreamt of catching Garrett bluffing. Who called Garrett with J high and was right.

would love to see you guys do a similar video, but, instead of post flop, if its possible, do this for preflop, wich i think there are a lot of money to be made, and we need a lot less hands to actually have enough sample to exploit people, for example, if the guy 4bets too much, whats the gto adaptation?, if he folds too much to 3bets? etc..

SB vs BB vs aggressiv opponent that raise much you said we should cbet strong hands of course. But if opponent are weak passive. How do we play strong hands vs that opponent?
@GTOWizard
@GTOWizard 9 месяцев назад
If they won't bet often when you check to them, then you don't have much incentive to slow play your strong hands. So you'd bet your value hands more often. Another way to say this is that BB has lower betting volume when you check to them, so nuts prefer to bet instead. Furthermore, a passive player won't raise often. This is good news for your medium value hands that want protection but fear facing a raise. You can bet more linearly against this player type using more thin value. Hope that helps!

No matter how many times i rewatch it i still dont get it what u did at 9:15 How do we double nodelock? I tried similiar board but strongest hands still mix X they arent pure bets vs a BB who overraises
@GTOWizard
@GTOWizard 9 месяцев назад
To do this, I first locked the original GTO strategy facing the check, then I nodelocked their strategy facing a bet. help.gtowizard.com/how-to-use-nodelocking/

Jesus Christ, GTO being "defense" with 10x pot on river... I get the point though theoretically, but those two things don't feel like they mix
