@@farhansadozai9167 LOL slaughtered? Read the scene of the battle first🤣. How about the army of thousands fearing a single person lmao. I guess it was Durrani Empire which was reduced to ashes 😂. Wait and watch there is more to come 🥰.

Not as dangerous as you make it out to be. I, along with various people I know, have visited multiple times. Foreigners stand out a little but the locals are fine, they are extremely hospitable. The presence of terrorist threats is very low as the army is present.
@@zeek9029 No we aren't but we are from close to there, have family, friends and colleagues there or close to there also. We travel there regularly and haven't had an issue as far back as around early 2017. That's not to say the situation can change or there be some issue along the border regions as there can be but the overall security and safety of the area is good.
Clark Christensen: Wow....it' s important to know it having Afghani or Pakistani students. Have you ever been there, Mr. Christensen? Thanks 🌼 for sharing
Thank you! No, I have not. I researched and made this video as part of a "Global Hotspot: Pakistan" class. However, my instructor, a colonel in the US Army, spent several years in the area. He traveled through the pass many times.
My word. This is another utterly misleading video by somebody who hasn't even set foot on the Khyber. I'm a Swiss national who has had the pleasure of driving up the Khyber Pass in October 2019 and again in October 2021, a couple of months after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan. At no moment in point did I ever feel the slightest sense of danger during the drive. The Pass is steeped in history. You are however right to highlight its historical and commercial importance, and the place must count as one of the seminal crossing points on earth. And yes, the locals are the most friendly and welcoming people you will ever encounter. I would urge you visit the place. Your preconceived views will be blown away, believe me.
