My mother was a Gianni Versace model and then later a designer for him (9 years she spent with him) - she did Luxroix, Gianni, Armani - just all the best Italian designers!!! Francesca Dalma Callado puccini (if you wanted to know)
Still don’t think Andrew killed Johnny it was done mob style an the bird dead too. I watched the show on Netflix none of it makes sense Andrew was just held accountable because he killed before.
It's a shame that Gianni was killed by an obsessive maniac 😔After all, thanks to Gianni's creative genius, Versace was born. Donatella also mentions that after her brother died, expectations from her were very high. Nevertheless, I am glad that the brand is still popular today
Super tragic. Famous people need to be warned to avoid regular routines and predictable behaviors. Bankers, doctors, teachers are just as vulnerable. I was stalked by a student at a school where I only worked part time. It was very scary. And the Director of the program knew the student had threatened me and refused to expel her. Praise the Lord I am still here. No thanks to the school administrators.
Who would of thought a few months later princess Diana would pass on , moral of the story , life's temporary in the material world , make the most of what you have even if its not branded as long as its special to you!
A mother’s support for her child at the beginning of his upbringing has a major role in his success in the future … All love to all mothers around the world❤
Back in the early 80s, Versace also design for other labels. So did Armani and Claude Montana. I can’t remember the labels but you could tell Versace signature designs. Not to many talk about this and i discover this by just seeing different brands and could tell it was Versace, Armani and Montana.
Oh and I’m not talking about , all the different labels Versace started. I think bc he was designing for another label, they didn’t state who was the designer back then. But in the 80s only a few designers were bold enough to design differently and they’re designs stood out. Now I think it’s ok to be bold and avant guard now, but back then it could kill your career bc of lack of support.
WOOOOwww GOOGLE. Amazing that the Versace dress inspired another multibillion dollar conglomerate. Goes to show you inspiration can strike at any moment. Your idea will be a break through. Stay in it Everyone! ❤In Loving Memory of Gianni Versace ❤
First, it’s pronounced Versace not Versacii… The two e they are making the same e sound as is yes. It’s Versace not Versacee like pee! Calabria in southern Italy is a Hellenic colony as many other cities! In general the southern part of Italy is known till today as Magna Grecia🇬🇷 and many Hellenes are living here till today! It’s interesting that even though his family had Italian names like Antonio, Francesca, Fortunata, Santo, Donatella… why they chose the name Gianni for him? Gianni is a Hellenic name (Γιάννης/giánnis) which means John. Also, the emblematic logo of Versace is the head of Medusa, a creature from the Hellenic mythology. Perhaps surrounded by Hellenes and the Hellenic culture of Magna Grecia he learnt from the young age the Hellenic myths and chose the head of Medusa as the logo of his company!
@@tomclark637 but Giovanni it’s the name John in Italian right? The Hellenic name is Ιωάννης / Ioànnis In daily conversations it becomes Γιάννης / Giannis. Ioànnis > John in English Ioànnis - Giovanni Giànnis - Gianni. It surprised me that his names sounded so Hellenic compared to the other names of his family!
Go to Reggio Calabria..youl see how he got inspiration from such a lovely Place..the Sea ,the fashion ,the art ,the greek ruins the history. He was a true artist.
I don't feel anything for Armani, Balenciaga, Moncler, Ralph Lauren or any other design brand for that matter, but Versace... I don't know man Versace is just something different
I don’t bother with the men’s clothing line of Versace but their cologne lineup is one of the main expensive bottle collections where I can just buy one and know it’ll probably be great.
The first step to successful investing is figuring out your goals and risk tolerance - either on your own or with the help of a Financial Advisor. If you can get the facts about savings and investing with a well detailed plan, you should be able to gain financial security over the years and enjoy the benefits of managing your income.
It's not how much money you save in the bank, but how much money you earn and how hard it works for you. Money devalue over time, investment is the best option as it grows over time
I think the key thing here is working with a professional. Yes people have devoted their lives to making profits in the market, but those of us who haven't but are interested in investing can simply work with them.
@@TheCezu Nah - the video is about Versace, not Italian speakers learning English (or Americans learning Italian). If you make an informative video about Versace, you should at least bother to pronounce the name of the brand correctly. If you're incapable of doing so, you know what they say... "You can try Sears"
You mean the devil/demon in his logo who he made a deal with? His soul for the money and fame? The age old deal… As always? Just like with Starbucks, Nike (this devil is Pegasus, the swoosh are the wings of pegasus…), and so many others. You can tell by their logo.
I am a proponent of the institution of holy matrimony. I guess growing up a foster child left a whole in me and not being made aware of my biological parents identity is still am emptyness I still deal with from day to day. Leonardo da Vinci legacy (my patriarc) was walking in the light of truth....even if your walking in the shadow of the Vadican🌞🩸🎚️
Never heard of versaci ngl until recetnly but mistook him for liberacci for what it is though ngl fwiw imho I feel zi only even heard of liberaci when it was a mentioned name apparently from a song I listen to that I first heard bacj in the early 2010s but only ever around 2016 or 2017 actually seeked out to listen to and payed attention to the lyrics... fwiw yeah but seems like kind of like gucci that it is more of a term for the cliche clothing that anybody wants to say is coolio fwiw ykwis? so no more than any orher peice of lcotjing in value lol... idk why just basically feels like gucci is a played out fad or trend from the late 10s
@@NYChiphop67 we have black designers like Telfar and many more black owned businesses, just support them no need to feed egos by bringing race into everything, don’t go where you’re not welcomed.
@@kabumanuw163 do my research? I don't need to. Medusa is the logo and Medusa is greek mythology. There is no comparable Africans goddess. It's you people who need to research before you make stupid claims.. You see if what you said was true you would of said the "Versace logo is African because......?" You know like exactly what I did " the Medusa logo is greek because she is a goddess documented in Greek mythological texts. See the difference?
@@IrishCinnsealach I don't blame you..you're also the kind to deny that ancient Egypt was black... but we already know even if you researched and got information that versace has African origins you would still look for a reason to disassociate it from the African origin because its ingrained in you to think less of Africa. But hold on you to your seat because you will have a very rude awaking because the one thing people can't change are the laws of the universe
@@IrishCinnsealach and I don't claim versace to have African origin because I think he's great...no ... for him he's just another tool/extension of superiority without having real talent... this design clothes end in Africa second hand markets for less than a dollar and eventually are thrown away because they're useless.
