For the majority of its existence, Versace has been the dream of one man only, one man who singlehandedly held full control over the business and turned it into a giant. In this video, you’’ see how it became that very giant.
It might be expensive, but they have some of the kindest staff. I used to go in a lot, but rarely bought anything, just to look at the clothes and try them on just to understand the fabric better. One time I had this horrendous nosebleed in one of their london stores because of how hot it was in the store and they took such great care of me. Got me drinks, tissue, sat me down, all while wearing this knit gold vest that was so expensive. I felt very cared for, even more than they cared for the clothes. A much better experience than in many other shops, if I ever stop being poor Ill definitely be a longtime customer
Girl, its nice that they cared for you and are extremely caring but please don’t ever do that again babe. They are very hard workers to serve customers.
I went into a store in London. And asked the staff member if he could guess how old my Versace shirt was. He got it spot on right and said if I ever sold it I would make a lot back. It’s probably my oldest piece of clothing I have. 20 years old still looks mint
@@sofypi7493 I beg to differ there are many pieces that are quite classy and can be worn for years while many others are contemporary reflecting new creative styles for each season
I have been to his boutiques and asked the same question. This is why they are so expensive: First, the fabrics and materials are very well printed and cut. The designs are very well preserved on the piece. Second, they only make a few copies of each model, for each size. So they are very scarce
Your channel makes a very detailed video which covers all the important aspects and information and gives a glimpse of the business strategies which inspires the youngsters… Thank you for making us gain more knowledge 🖤
Price can get kinda low DEPENDING on what you buy; their colognes aren’t really as expensive as many of their other items. The modern 4 have a price of course (eros, pour homme, dylan blue, eu fraiche man) but their “older” colognes not so much. You can find bottles of versace blue dream (mid 90’s classic, very popular at the time) and versace the dreamer, both of which you can find for $15-25 a bottle. The dreamer is a bit dated, but it holds a special place in my heart personally as it was the very last cologne Gianni developed before being murdered. I also sense this cologne before too long may be discontinued, and if so I will be sure that I have some kept away because the price will likely skyrocket out of control, becoming a part of what vintage Versace collectors will try to find with more difficulty in time
It us expensive becadye they have to remain in the market. They have to make sales and they have to make again. They have a name they will protect. I'm a fashion designer but I love designer all of them especially the one who is good to me. So that you will be proud of yourselves ypu own it. So don't be angry but happy you own it. I'll like my siblings. My brothers sisters and my children to model their products. Please
2:31 "medusa makes people fall in love with heh" So sorry but you have literally no idea what you are talking about. First, read or in your case watch something about Greek mythology secondly, Giani picked up this "head of medusa" when he saw a sculpture of it on the door of one of Milan's palaces
Well it was actually correct. If you know about the Medusa story she was a beautiful woman much like Helen of Troy who had plenty of men fall in love with her, in fact every eligible man wanted her in Greece just about buy She was a virgin in the service of Athena and was raped by Poseidon and cast out as Medusa with bad looks
I have a tshirt with that women drawing and name written which i never knew until now how to pronounce...looked so cheap even though now i know it's a luxury brand.....
FALSE: Gianni chose the medusa because as a kid he use to play somewhere in Rome he discovered a carved in stone medusa in said place they use to play as kids so it kinda got stuck into his head so he decided to make it the logot not because of the mythical backstory just fyi
I looked on their website the other night out of curiosity. . .$400. for a pair of underwear …😵💫 well it was good to look, but I wouldn’t pay that for underwear if I was rich. I mean how many people would know that you have underwear that isn’t worn by many
Yes, through Capri Holdings. Michael Kors used to be a luxury brand. Now it´s close to being on every streetcorner. Don´t get me wrong but I see a degrading in exclusivity of the Michael Kors brand. I´m afraid Versace are going to suffer under this. Jimmy Choo as well.
Hey I'm a beginner and I understand the market crash is the perfect time to make money, but how are some investors able to double there profit within a short period of time, a particular investor made up to $350,000 from trading about $100,000 within a couple of months, do they stand a better chance than others?
I believe English-speaking people will never pronounce the name “Versace” in an original way. But the name “Dolce” of “Dolce & Gabbana” (which also ends with “ce”), instead they pronounce it in an original way. I don't understand them.
@@Ghidorah96 I mean businessman stands on the code of deception and unethical morality. And present a simple fact to we school boy that it was all hardwork and straight honest work but the rest of the unethical and immoral code they go through for their business is not taught or even mentioned in the egoistic praise of their success
@@Ghidorah96 everyone go thruh hardwork but everyones definition of ethics is defined by themselves as what they experience in life.. so whether u r truly doing the business ethically with versatility then I'm here to admire your business or else dont hide your business moral by the words of dedication and hardwork.
