Growing up in Maryland in the 1960s,...and occasionally taking that long drive down I-95,...including the obligatory stop at South Of The Border. Then finally crossing into that ''mysterious' state of Florida. Nice to see some of Old Florida has survived.

As Elvis said whether we are singing to one person or a thousand we still do our best. Elvis lived more in his 42 years on earth than many people manage to wring out of a lifetime. Thanks for bringing us along Billy. Cool stuff to see where Elvis was.

Another great Elvis story and this place was also featured in a Route 66 episode "The Cruelest Sea Of All "with Tod and Link, .Martin Milner and Glen Corbett just a few years later so you get to see a lot of the original location. It's nice that it's still around to enjoy today.

Hi Debra, it’s actually not a tank, it’s built right into the side of a natural spring. I used to be prince Eric for the Little Mermaid show back in the 90’s.

Spa Guy it's nice that you show some of your past videos. This one at Weeki Wachee showing Elvis there is fantastic. Elvis was there with others, Vernon, Colonel Parker and more. I just watched Follow That Dream. Elvis was having a good time there. It's amazing Weeke Wachee is still there. Thanks for seeing this again.❤🎉😅

Very cool Elvis history SG Thanks for the ride along. Elvis covered a lot of ground. You have to keep in mind,,traveling was not nearly as easy when Elvis was out on the road non stop. Have said it before. You think about it.. On Sundays almost nothing open unless you was ina Metro area. SG... Was going to ask you. Have you ever heard of Jim Brown in Nashville, singer/songwriter?.. Just curious. Jim is probably right around your age i would guess. Thanks again.

@@SpaGuy SG,,, Sometime you and GTwT,,, try and do a story on Ray Butts. I think people would find it fascinating ,,, one of those behind the scenes people,,,that no one really knows exists. Dont know if you would ever get Rays daughter to show at Rays old music store ( which was torn down several years ago). She is heck of a nice gal,,,VERY independent though. She is still on the go constantly . She still flys commercial jets globally.If you could get to her to show up,,you would be glad you done the story . Thanks

Hi Spa Guy. Another great video- my favorite kind showing locations where Elvis actually was. It actually almost gives me goosebumps when you show the spot where Elvis stood then and now. Amazing! Yes I remember it. Was there in the early 70s. Lots of pictures with that mermaid king statue. And then about 15 years ago took my 10-year-old daughter there. And it was still there in the same spot. The statue that you can take pictures with. It was actually emotional lol. I think I'll go back one more time lol

I went into a hotel bar for my grandmother to get my father in 1978 while on vacation after my parents divorced. Can't remember what hotel but had similar set up with women in bikinis swimming around was Daytona Beach Florida I sat and watched for a while i wonder if it's still there?
