I don't like this versiòṅ at all. It's Just a mesh up of elements with horrific graphics. Is the animated intro from shinkiro? The style looks like his oldest works but somehow worsen..
Rugal was a villain with such potential. One of the reasons why snk original failed is because they kept insisting in throwing good stuff in the bin to make room for crappy stuff.
My only criticism with this reboot game is that I liked the graphics/stages in the original a little better. Aside of that, still an awesome, fun game 😁😎
The stages are a big step back to me. It's basically my only problem with the game. KOF has very good stage design since the beginning, with a lot of good style and artistic sense. But that huge creative achievement was thrown away just to force KOF to fit in the 00s trend of 3d stages popularized by MvC2. A questionable decision because the MvC2's stages, no matter how popular, were a extreme step back from 2d stages that peaked in quality around MSH and XvSF. SNK had just abandoned the NeoGeo for KOF games at that time, so i believe they wanted to force too hard a "modern" picture.
The game is a good project to celebrate KOF's anniversary. With an anime opening and all. But stages are a big problem to me. KOF has great stage design especially in the classic games, with a lot of good style and artistic sense... But that huge creative achievement was thrown away, just to force KOF to fit in that 00s trend of 3d stages popularized by MvC2. Everyone started copying that style. A questionable decision, because even the MvC2's stages, no matter how popular, were a extreme step back from 2d stages that peaked in quality around MSH and XvSF. SNK had just abandoned the NeoGeo for KOF games at that time, so i believe they wanted to force too hard a "modern" picture.
I feel the music was better as well, particularly the Mexico stage (definitely can't complain about seeing Lilly making a short appearance there in the updated version, however).
The sprite upgrade is a nice job to me. It's an interesting project in a right time, being the celebration of KOF 10th anniversary in a time the series finally abandoned the NeoGeo with all its limitations. But my biggest problem is with the stages... everything worse than the original, and clearly trying too hard to get in the popular "2d game 3d stage" trend popularized by MvC2. SNK adopted that direction wildly in their DC and PS2 ports ever since MvC2. And this time it was ridiculously overdone.
I never seen this before what is this on Playstation 2 a mixture of real bout and King of Fighters or what what's the name of this game and what system is it on🎮🕹😀👍🏾
At some point later, can you upload Titanic Tim's arcade ladder from Ring of Destruction: Slam Masters 2... after a Saturday Night Slam Masters 1 video of course? I've been looking all over RU-vid for Titanic Tim's 2nd Slam Masters playthrough and no one seems to have done one.
El equipo de Inglaterra del equipo de Mai, King y Yuri, tiene el soundtrack que con Mai me ayudó en el evento de recaptura de los extranjeros rojos del difunto metal slug attack en última batalla larga ya sea los puntos A, B o C
KOF YOU ARE VERY EXPENSIVE I'M NO LONGER GOING TO FINANCE YOUR JOKE EVEN IN THE QUALITY THAT I ASSUME IT'S WORTH IT ALREADY COST ME 90 LIVES AND MY TWIN RAY TOO NO NO NO NO NO WHY GOD
The original game looks much better then this, the effects R more blurry and the 3D effect looks clunky. I think the effect looses the realness of the game.
