The scene between Terry and Rock (which is adorable as a kid) was excellent, I enjoyed it a lot! Also it represented the final reason that made Angelina change her mind and save Terry. It is hard to get past the fact that we did not see all the fights. This was a big disappointment and I really hope it will change in the future! All the characters deserve to be seen fighting, there is no excuse for that! Aside for that, I like that the tournament can surprise us, King`s team won and it is suggested that Atena and Sie beat Joe and Andy. I am sure this will change Andy`s temperamental behaviour for the better and will make Joe a bit more serious! So I am not mad at all about the outcome of the matches, on the contrary, BUT I wanted to see all the fights! From the little we saw I can say that the beginning of Atena`s fight was quite nice and the way Terry defeated Sie was well done.

Nice to see young Rock. Like with Harumi Ikoma as King, I'm glad Haruna Ikezawa is still voicing Athena. She's been Athena since KOF '98. However, I am disappointed we don't get to see the entire fights.

I'm ok with Ryo losing, but not this early on. Also, since he was facing the Female Fighters team (or in this case the Queens) it would have made more sense to have him fight Yuri. Missed opportunity for a dramatic fight right there.

We grew up with these characters and they are like friends and family for us. Thank you SNK! u.u

RIP Art of Fighting... Yes, I know that in the KoF timeline, the Kyokugen team isn’t among the protagonists and their endings are mostly comic relief material, but Ryo is still supposed to be one of the best fighters and develop a friendly rivalry with Terry. I appreciate the changes they made so far, like the retelling of the Fatal Fury story and so on, but this hurt a bit.

Ryo is the main protagonist of AOF which is one of the major establishing franchises for SNK in their primary times.He is just as equivalent as Terry. AOF is something which introduced me to the world of SNK. Ryo is my all time most favourite character. that man Ryo is the first one who beat down Geese & Mr. karate. Hidden boss of Fatal Fury. He is the reason of KOF tournament legacy. All these two decades, tolerated all injustice which SNK did to Ryo, Design wise,spot light wise & Move set wise, just to make him less appealing option(even among his own franchise members) & harm his popularity. Now seriously they had crossed the limit. Really sad for Ryo,Once a major badass character,now a comic relief jobber. I have to unsubscribe SNK. You do fan service,You dont need your Old fans.😢

OMG ROCK!!!! did not see that coming. Totally disappointing to see Ryo lose like this. The AOF series was as much an entry point into fighting games for a lot of as as the Fatal Fury series (My first fighting game was AOF1). Ryo is by far one of the strongest characters lore wise (Hasnt he actually defeated geese?), and Robert is the same, and i dont think i have to say anything about mr.karate. Sad, just sad.

I liked how Rock tied into the story, and that Angie knocked over the glass in time. Fours rings at once is clever. Athena was cool. And Kensou gets hit during the startup frames, ha. Mai getting mad at Joe and Andy, then getting them to cheer was funny. Cool episode!

Awesome episode, dramatic, funny and with great fights. Athena and Mai was great.

Glad that, at the very least, they toned down Mai's obsession w/ Andy as opposed to the Fatal Fury OVAs & movie. It's much more fitting for her as an SNK flagship character (along w/ Terry, Kyo, & others) to be much less of an annoyance. Never liked them as a couple anyway. Quite refreshing to see her cheering Terry on instead.

I expected more from the art of fighting team

Ryo Sakazaki goes toe to toe with arguably one of the strongest SNK bosses, Mr. Karate. then proceeds to go after Mr. big and young geese. Just the old SNK way to give heroes some feats. What's he doing here? Wants yuri to stay at home and jobbing to a 2nd rate fighter. Chicken factory writing level. I bet chin will lose with a much better dignity than ryo. They might even give a reason to withdraw. Chinese wouldn't allow it. Hogwash.

Awesome episode! Surprised they brought in Rock so soon. I was hoping to see more of Mai in action, and I'm bummed we didn't get to see Andy's match at all.

In case you guys dont realize, in the context of KOF, Mai is actually close to being a Master-tier fighter. Her training is so much more advanced than Andy that most of the time she acts as a second teacher to him. If you compare Andy's level being close to but just a little behind Terry, Mai is actually a league above both of them. So taking on Ryu shouldnt be any trouble for her.

The fact that they’re skipping fight scenes basically defeats the purpose of it being KOF.

Man they did Ryo and the AOF team dirty here but decent series over all with a few blips along the way.

Ryo, who defeated Young Geese lost to Mai Joe, who is a Muay thai champion lost to Athena Andy who trained at least 8 years Shiranui-ryuu and Koppouken from Hanzo Shiranui lost to somebody. And people take this as canon without discussing anything despite the people behind this doesn't seems to have cared about the skills of the characters 10:07 that was funny tho

Man, they seriously got their priorities wrong with these fights. I mean, it's whatever because we know Kyo's team is ultimately gonna win the tournament, but man, did they ever do the AOF team dirty by jobbing them out like it was nothing. And then doing the same to Joe and Andy? Weaksauce. And why would they be scared of Mai? Either one of them could just give her a bitchslap and that'd be that, she's nothing compared to either of them. They could, however, redeem that by having Heidern shitstomp the women's team by himself like the boss he is in the second round. Or alternatively have Terry do the same, since my own personal headcanon has always been that the Japan team and either the Fatal Fury or Ikari team met in the finals of KOF '94.

I guess I'm not the only one who noticed Rock.

There are too many mistakes in the script. Terry should be much taller and cooler. His girlfriend is Marry. He won't mess up the relationship with Marry. Terry is also not father of Lok. Their relationship is special, more like teacher and student. And Benimaru is not pervert. He is actually also a cool guy. (maybe a little gayer). His clothes has problem too. This is his suit after 98‘kof. And the Mother of Kyo looks not like a japanese wife. Because she is in this film not gentle at all, more like a chinese wife. And King doesn't fight for money. She earn money because she has a little brother, who is ill. They need that money for medical treatment... So many problem. Maybe SNK should find a director who know king of fighter better.

Ryo lost against Mai? Are you guys kidding me?? Who is writing your stories? - The way Rock was introduced was horrible! Random kid walks into store and asks random man, "Can you be my daddy?". It's aggressively bad. Why not have Terry reveal that he's been looking after Rock and now only Rock makes an appearance? It would be 1000x less cringe worthy. Sucks, so much potential for this show and this franchise.

At 8:40 New Ikari Team starts playing and I'm really happy that the people who worked on this movie/series, (you can go ahead and correct me), chose it to be the background music.
