The Go Ruck GR2 has been an amazing one travel backpack that I have explored all around the country with. With its amazing 40 liters of storage space and really durable material 1000 D cordura nylon its crazy how strong and tough the material is. I've had this bag for over 5 years and it still looks brand new. This is a great bag for 1 bag travel I have also used this bag camping in the mountains of new Hampshire, deserts of California and Texas as well. This is a bag that I will be holding onto for quite a while.

Thank you so much! I think it’s good to talk about things after an extended period of time because then you have a lot of real world scenarios that happened to the Gear and you really have a chance to see the durability

Yeah it’s a great one bag solution for a lot of scenarios! It’s heavy but it’s tough- just makes you stronger I think

thank you ! am soooo tempted! i am going on 6 months travel and hesitating between this one and the aer pack 3 (which cheaper in us, gets the same price here in europe...) i need to take my computer, so i need very good protection. i am wondering.any thoughts on this?

Thank you so much. I’m glad that you enjoyed the video! Although I don’t have any direct experience with the aer pack 3 at first glance looking at it. It seems the material isn’t as thick as the gr2 - I could be wrong, but I think that thicker material would give you more protection. I might have to make a comparison video between the two at some point!

I’m on the fence. I’m looking for a edc/travel bag and can’t decide between the GR2 34 and the 40. Is the 40 that much larger that the 34 would be a better EDC option?

I like the 40 for the versatility you can treat it as a day pack if you want to but then you also have the option of using it for more than that but some people can definitely make 34 L work for extended travel. Would just need to be more minimalist

I just purchased the GR2 34L for this very purpose. The 40L is 1.5 inches taller in height, but the width and depth are the same on both. I purchased the ripstop version.
