bill blanks is my favorite actor in all times and I love this film cuz reminds me a lot especially when I was a little kid we Africans used to watch this at our local cinema in the street

Schot was doing OK against Kahn...considering he had already fought that night for the championship... I would have loved to see Prang fighting for a second time against Kahn without any external help.

@doggypower1 You might be thinking of "Superfights". I think the guy works as a janitor and he idolizes a fighter on tv. He saves the Chinese girl from a gang robbing her, but, he saves her. Thus, he gets recognized and offered a job at martial art sport entertainment similar to the WWE called Superfights. I think it is here on youtube.

The start of the movie is set in 1981 yet the fashions and hairstyles don't reflect that era, and Billy Blanks still looks and dresses exactly the same - with early nineties fashions.

This film of the king of the kickboxer besides that it is shit is incidental the kidboxer is not from thailand it is from Japan the one from thailand is the Muay thai

This movie, the King of Kickboxer is garbage, one of the most rotten Hollywood waste of the 90s, and this plot was copied from Jean Claude VanDame's movie called Kidboxer, the movie is a pity for others.
