Hey everyone, this is a little difficult to write but things aren't going great on my end. You might've seen my twitter post joking about having food poisoning, turns out it wasn't food poisoning. My kidney function has deteriorated enough to the point where my blood is slightly acidic, which makes me extremely nauseous and tired pretty much constantly. I got prescriptions to try and make it more tolerable but they don't help much. I've been struggling to get any work done, so I've had to dig into the stockpile I've been building up for when I am recovering from a transplant. I hope I can push through it, but IDK. That's part of why the historical video is taking so long. Just thought I would give you guys an update. I might scale back how much editing I put into these, just to bring the stockpile back up. Would you guys be ok with that?
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a downtier in the Tiger 2. I used to make the mistake of playing WAY too aggressively with it and getting slapped by someone lmao

@DeathMonkeys This is one of the most braindead takes I have ever heard. In what way is it bad? You have good armor, the mobility of a medium tank, the long 88 is great with a great APHE, reload time is decent, and you practically have a low speed stabilizer on smooth ground. Name one thing that makes it not good
Good breakthrough tank in practive. They have to aim while generally you can shoot them on the move if its a down tier. In an uptier tho.... Not really.
I find it funny that in your last match, the AML-90 you summoned at the beginning was the one that got credit for you J'ing out at the very end. He really was the only one to actually damage you huh.
“Marsch” basically is a shorter version of “Marschieren” which means marching. By that he simply said march forward. But if you are german, you should’ve known that. Still, hope this helps.
U can say "Abmarsch" If you Drive in a convoy :D and "marsch Marsch" is the Order to Run/ Jogging in the infantry. Or in this Case top Drive faster. Sometimes U can say "abmarsch" to your Childs If your Finish with scold him :D
@@nightmaresecurity2912 There is even more distinction here as "Marsch, Marsch!" means flooring it in a vehicle and on foot it means get your lazy feet going and god help you if you dont pick up speed. When only "Marsch" (or for vehicles, TCs usually say "Vorwärts/Rückwärts, Marsch!") is said its meant at a more normal speed, e.g. like 15km/h - 25km/h or something the line. Basically TC here told driver to floor it and get going fast and keep fast.
@@cpt.ozelot9566 As I commented to the other: Marsch, Marsch! is the command a TC issues when he wants to get going fast and stay fast usually without a specific speed in mind. Just what the vehicle can offer. Basically just militarily saying "floor the damn thing man"
I remember when tanks first came out and both tiger 2s were almost impenetrable unless you were shooting it’s side, and even then it wasn’t easy. Oh how times have changed on warthunder.
i still remember the jagdtiger, only aiming at the lower front plate was possible to pierce using the most powerfull enemy weapon, the 122mm aphe but even then you would die 9/10
Ive seen the Königstiger IRL in Finland, Its insanely impressive when you are standing beside it. Btw you got that Xenomorph blood now, Kinda cool story for the grandkids

Yeah this tank is definitely nice to use, and having such a good cannon is so satisfying. I bought this tank's package maybe a month ago and i spent about two weeks or so using it to grind the tree so i could get to the maus. I went from no progress to tier V in that two or three weeks. (obviously the premium time from the bundle also helped), but it also showed me just what i was missing with premiums. IT'S ACTUALLY NUTS. This was the first premium i had ever bought and i had no clue they were THAT effective for grinding.
@@alexzavala5078 while playing through the tech tree you will eventually end up in a state where your vehicles just suck ass and that halts progress, instead of that you can buy a premium and get your tree up to speed quickly. You also get more research points with the higher tier vehicles than t1s. And on top of all of these I believe there is a small extra progress you get if you use premium vehicles
I heard and i could very well be wrong but the reason the bulldog survived the bomb was because you have invisible spawn protection until you move a bit but i think you can still shoot and have the spawn protection. Good tip for AA
I remember a few months back, I was in a King Tiger with three other squad mates (friends) and we were stuck and couldn't push the enemy back so I singlehandedly, decided to push all by myself, and this scared the enemy as now they decided to concentrate fire on just me which encouraged my team to push them and take the point, my friends and I were laughing all the way until the game ended and won
The churchill is meant to played kinda like that too but just because the thing is so awful you can't flank or do damage anyways so you're just the damage sponge
I’ve done something similar with the Churchill III, just used to stab and the shot mk 8 to just cruise through the enemy with my allies behind me. I’d angle and become portable cover for my allies with the stronger guns to use. I always pull the Churchill out when I want to “siege breaker” my way to a point.
Here's hoping that you feel better Spookston, the WT community wouldn't be the same without you. Also, could you do a video on the Sturer Emil? While most just see it as a CAS magnet, the 128mm gun is just a blast to use.

I was trying to grind the Tiger 2 H and then tried even faster when I saw the new BR changes but paused for a while once the update dropped because I was slightly burnout from my German 5.7-6.3lineups and wasn't too sure how it'd be with the update then I decided to to continue grinding Britain (SUFFERING). But I think you have actually inspired me to continue grinding for more *GERMAN WUNDERWAFFE!* so thanks, we all hope you get better very soon though Spookston!
If that make your happy, m48 have a good lineup with maus, but you better abandon tiger II for panther (its gun would be usless or useful in same situations as panther one, but panther is much faster).

Personally the Tiger II is a mixed bag, whenever I play it I always go up against HEAT slingers or when it's the least convenient times. Still a great all-rounder heavy tank.
I feel that but also it's gun it's mobility it's armor it's just a really powerful tank. It's crazy , and then! the 105 variant has like 400 hundred more hp.
I'm a German tank main at 7.0 with my premium Tiger 2. And I must say the Tiger 2 (H) does not suffer, German 6.0-5.0 is what suffers. Ever since I made it to 7.0 I play the game way more now, plus Russian tanks don't stand a fucking chance. The amount of times a opponent has reversed and just hid until I leave them alone or I get outnumbered THEN they attack. The only thing that is suffering at 7.0 is the fact everyone is too scared to engage you. Sobbing and having a cry-wank waiting for u to push and camping.
Wanna hear something funny? My max BR with Germany is 6.7. I got up tiered to a mf A-10 Warthog! Plus a rakentuaten or whatever it’s called. The A-10 is 10.7 and the dual Recoilless Rifle tank is 8.0.
Infinite fuel, together with an experienced crew, infinite spare parts, almost a constant flow of spare tanks and the fact that the transmission isn't desintegrsting itself are some important points

While I’ve always in my mind preferred the thought of a stronger turret than hull. Since you always have to show it to shoot. The tiger 2 has always reminded me just how nice a reliable and strong hull is, sure the turret face isn’t all that but it’s small enough and isn’t weak. It helps that the long 88 is amazing too.
@@9000k4 that is literally false, also enjoy facing the T10M or even the T10A. half the shit at 8.0 and up can upper front plate you and your cheeks are worthless so enjoy getting ammo racked 24/7
I wouldn't be surprised if the T14 Armada used a variation of the Tiger 2 Engine though. Considering Russia's track record of underperforming, nonexistent, and/or outright shitty tanks. Although I do wish you a speedy Recovery Spookston. Might not play WT as much as I used to. But it definitely is nice to watch.
7:19 it only fixed your tracks because if your tracks get destroyed, it will automatically start repairing it without having to press anything, but only the tracks so the reason your canon didn’t get fix because you didn’t press the repair button (I hope you get well though.❤)
It meant "Marsch Marsch' its Like "Go, Go" "Driver Go" Sometimes the Commander says Like "Schneller!" That means "faster!" And this you can Gear mostly while ""climbing"" a Mountain. And If anyone Care im German (Wehraboo wo hooo)
i hope everything works out great for you, your videos are up there with the best in terms of information and humor, wish you the best. On another note, tried out the tiger 105 and panther 2 lineup, with the 50mm 262 as cas. that lineup is absolutely brutal, the tiger 105 gets a super fast long range rangefirnder, easy to aim gun with 250mm aphe oneshot king, and an upgraded engine with 900hp. It recently also got a buff to its reload, and you can get it down to 13 seconds, thats just brutal, test it out if you have the time or energy, again hope it works out for you :D
Imagine just unlocking this (or even the Porsche variant), starting up your first match only to be greeted with a full uptier vs an IS-3, IS-4M, or, heaven forbid, an IS-6
Or the t32 and t25e5, i really struggle against all of these tanks. Of course spookston gets constant downtiers which makes the tiger 2 extremely good and maybe even overpowered, but in uptierd its close to useless in my opinion

I hope you get better Spookston, also I'm gonna say, your videos make me laugh with what you do with the editing, I sometimes rage so much on War Thunder and feel like I don't get much out of my battles that I should honestly watch your videos more to calm myself down before continuing on. Keep up the great videos.
This is exactly where I stopped in the German tech tree because I never have fun playing these things. They're just little firecrackers because of the ammo storage in the turret. I have a lot of fun getting my heavy tank kills for tasks off of them though

I ran into a King Tiger in a Object 122MT MC yesterday. I think the game took pity on that player, too, because the session ended after my opening sabot shot disabled the turret crew *_but_* before my follow-up ATGM finished off the driver.

I don't understand why people do so poorly with the tiger 2. I often see most people using the tiger 2 die before they even get the chance to get a kill.
At 7:25 when your barrel didn't repair, the tracks auto repair without needing to hold F and it lulls you into this false sense that all your modules are being fixed but no its just the track. Shits happened to me multiple times now.
