@@SirBuckNBAyou saying kings spacing on the court is bad as lakers with ad and bron says a lot, kings owned them lakers since fox & sabonis era c’mon man 😂 kings ball movement is more elite than so called lake show we know that
@@_JayPyrotechnics bro your right i even agreed there’s shooters so they should be a solid sixth seed, but were talking about a trio’s spacing, and i think we can say a demar, fox, sabonis spacing as a trio can be as rough as the the trio of demar, ad, bron (which is real bad).
@@SirBuckNBA You're a damn fool. Keegan, Fox shot 38% from three last year ON 8 ATTEMPTS per game, MONK, LYLES. Like they have spacing you are thinking on the entire topic like a casual.
BROOOOOOOO THEIR OFF-SEASON ISN'T DONEE YETTTTT HOLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Barnes Duarte out for DEMAR DEROZAN. Y'all trippin out here man. The kings became a top 5 defense as soon as Keon Ellis became a starter last year y'all need to relax and do a lil research before everyone on Earth keeps beating the same stale ass dead horse with a stick, "The Kings have an atrocious defense blah blah blah" - Their defense is solid now, their blocks went up 24% last season. They have elite perimeter defense with keegan, fox, and Ellis. Keegan was one of the highest rated iso defenders in the entire nba last season. Mannnnn
@@AlexRamirez-xc1nt i feel ya but i said what i said. Nonetheless im legit curious and there’s no wrong opinion whatever you say, do you think the kings can win a championship and how so? What excites you the most this upcoming season? Is it the acquisition? Development of ellis and murrary? Monk playing more?
The kings are obviously not gonna win the chip next year 🤦♂️. This is just a big step in the right direction for an organization that missed the playoffs for 16 years 🟣🔦
I agree they're not winning the chip, but you just never know with injuries. They can have a pacers type of run from last year, that's a significant improvement from the play-in. I'd be happy with that if I were a kings fan + Fox wanted him and they have to keep him happy
@@EA0617 i can’t disagree with that logic. Makes sense . I may add though when it comes to injuries that lead to runs, i think its easier in the east to advance than in the west. Like the west is legit 12 deep. The fact that Sacramento didn’t even make it last year was nuts because I’m sure if they were in the east? Could’ve made it to the second round
I do agree with you it doesn’t make the kings a championship team, but he is another asset with an extremely good contract. If keegan develops into a star, then the kings can become a championship team. And if not, then hopefully they are both assets to trade for another piece, hopefully they won’t have to. It does give the kings a perspective of what can be if the kings have three legitimate scorers. Og anunoby woukd have been ideal last year. I would have liked BI also. But demar is not a bad alternative. And I agree, it does not make them a better defensive team, but their defense did improve a lot last year. Just be in the top 15 and it gives them a chance.
With 6 or 7 games left Kings were right where the Mavs were. Mavs got hott, Kings did not. Im not saying this move makes them front runners but they did improve. Not to mention hes the biggest name player that Kings have gotten since C Webb, and hes happy to be there. The Kings cant just wait for stars to appear out of no where like some other teams can. You have to take a shot to make it when your not a desirable spot that the media loves, and thats what theyre doing.
@@dabrab6324 that’s valid and I don’t fully disagree. I just don’t think it’ll thread the needle and though you got him for harrison barnes (which is great), i don’t think its ideal that the kings were the only team willing to give him more than the mle especially since now you’re hard capped, but luckily if it hits the fan, his final year is partially guranteed
I'm a sports commentator, sauce is what I bring lmao, but deaaron did put a timeline for y'all. So hopefully this deal works and convinces him to sign an extension.
@@AJB867 bleacherreport.com/articles/10125888-nba-rumors-deaaron-fox-wont-sign-new-contract-in-2024-evaluating-kings-roster Essentially, he wants to see their success before resigning. Thats a two year timespan. If y’all are successful and improve he will. If yall make it to the second round? Im sure he will.
@@SirBuckNBA a "nEwS rEpoRt"??? lol.. how many times have we heard "nEwS REpOrtS" based upon ruomors?... bro, Fox and Monk even stated in an interview earlier this year how much they talk to each other about contract extensions, staying in Sac, playing together in the future etc. They played AAU together, they played college together.. this is what they want.... Monk would not have re signed if Fox was this un certain
@@AJB867 i feel what youre saying, but also paul george was supposed to stay on the clippers forever. Things can change quick in sports. Tyrese was a promising guard for the kings? Traded for sabonis. Things can happen
Waiting on jury duty so cant listen to your points... but i disagree with the title. Losing the pick swap in 2031 will hurt most likely. But doesnt matter right now. Losing barnes doesnt hurt at all. We didnt have to get much to get derozan... which is huge. Even if this doesnt work out, kings wont regret it. Kings were never going to fix their size or defense this year. So, they doubled down on offense. Dero is a fine fit next to fox and sabonis. He can hit a spot up 3 when he needs to, and likes long 2s. He can also gst to the free throw line and make them, which we struggled with. Really excited for the potential here.
@@mrhankey2926 ah gotcha gotcha, i just hope kevon gets back fully recovered and monk stays healthy. I wanna see what this squad full of yall shooters looks like all season
Kings fans have been so abused they’re psyched about getting a guy who’s game hasn’t translated to winning basketball in like 5-6 years. Even when Demar was younger, he crippled a contending Raptors team by not being able to shoot efficiently and being a lazy defender. Enjoy that Sac town. He will make you worse. Toronto immediately got better the minute he left town because of Kawhi but I bet they still would’ve been better without Derozan and no Kawhi. The dude is a black hole of a player.
