When I listen the whole novel and know about the valueless people who don't give importance to others when they are available but after going away we feel the importance of that person.

Just remember the dialogue of "mahbuba sayad" my father was "Marda mumun" coz something he use to pray jumma nemaz , Same dialogue by author his father was good but he use to drink alcohol and more interesting is he never use to think this was a unattoned sin

In this story,I found Amir the most selfish man ,no doubt at the end he was repenting just because he was his brother,this story has made me emotional just because of Hassan.
Reminds of my friend from Afghanistan "Mansoor Hussaini" he is also hazara and he told me how painful it is for hazaras to live in afghanistan. I can feel every live of this book.
