Wait...I can't believe I just realised that Toulouse (ginger) gets to do painting (colourful stuff) and then Berlioz and Marie (being black and white) get to do the piano (which has black and white keys). ...Does that make sense to anyone else?
Hands down my favorite Disney movie and this is probably my favorite scene in the movie. From "You're nothing but a sister!" to "Ladies do not start fights but they can finish them" and Toulouse's attempt to be fierce by meowing and spitting, LOVE THIS MOVIE!
Dutchess' kittens are so cute. Thumbs up if you agree and love cats. It's so sad that Gary Dubin died this year in October from bone cancer. R.I.P. Gary Dubin, we'll miss you. You were great as the voice actor behind Toulouse the kitten.

She's not a brat, she's a kitten, privileged yes, and has to learn like her brothers the art of getting along and growing up well. I think she's adorable, sassy and doesn't stand any unfairness from her brothers. They do rib her and she's obviously the most beautiful and best character in it. I think they actually try to pull her down a peg or two as they are a little envious of her sass.
Marie has the best lines, but Berlioz was always my favorite. Always such a bully, and that death glare he gives to Toulouse when he splashed paint all over his face 😂

omg I can't even begin to describe how much I loved these movies as a kid. My heart becomes all warm and cosy when I rewatch scenes. Kids, appreciate your childhood. You'll miss it so much when its gone. :(
To be honest, I think the older disney movies were FAR better than the new movies. Take Frozen for an example. I think it's pretty boring and annoying. I love the old movies because they just have better scripts and storylines. Like Lady and the Tramp 2. I liked the first one better because the second one just took all of the emotions out. Not that I'm saying it's a bad movie. This is my opinion so don't hate.
I watch repeatedly when i was kid, i don't know what attractive me but never bored. The year of 2000, that day watch a television and the video tape box with only this kitty Disney tv can made my day, recall a bunch of memories.

It's great how Duchess encourages and pushes her kittens to follow their talents, but none of them seem to feel forced into it. They enjoy the talents they have and although they have to be reminded to practise occasionally, all children have to be reminded to do something. A+ parenting?
I'm from Germany but I prefer the English Version of the Aristocats. Duchess' singing voice sounds better in the English Version than in the German Version und Marie's English voice is totally cute. I love this little white cat.
What I never understood about this underrated gem was why in the holy hell didn't Madame just SHARE her fortune with the cats and the Butler? That way everybody would have been happy! :/
I think she wanted to make sure that the butler would take care of the cats after her death and in that way it would be an incentive for him to keep taking care of the cats until he received the money. One of my disney favorites :)
It's ironic that they are supposed to be practising selfimprovment by learning arts when they would become much happier and better people if they fixed their dysfunctional interpersonal relationships first. They are so cute though, loved Aristocats when I were younger.

It turns out Liz English was not only old enough to be a mother at the time she voiced Marie... in fact, she *was* one. Also, R.I.P., Eva Gabor and *now* Gary Dubin.
where did you find out about that? i have seen a picture of Gary Dubin, Dean Clark and Liz and she's clearly just a little girl in this photo. i knew she had a daughter but theres no way she was a mother during that time. And have done some researching on internet but cannot find anything, and are you implying that she is dead, because i have thought that for the longest time with most info about her talking about her as if she is. but no sites i've looked on have ever confirmed that
The IMDB and the Wikipedia article on Louise English said so. And no, I am not implying Liz English is dead. Besides, the IMDB didn't say that. You sure you saw a photo of the three of them? Louise English was born in 1963. Maybe it was Louise who voiced Marie, but her mother was wrongly credited.
"Why should you go first" "Cause i'm a lady, that's why" "You're not a lady" "You're nothin' but a sister" That exchange always got me as a child, and the three children they had playing the kittens brought that kind of youthful sweetness and innocent sound and it really shows in the performances. Same thing can be said for quite a few shows with real kids playing characters (Peanuts, Hey Arnold.etc) and others.

Oh god this is my childhood ! I’m only 15 but I was 5 yrs old when I first watched this! My dad had upload it on pc then made it a dvd cause he knew I would have loved it, cause cats are my favorite animals!
