Like Fat Joe, Eminem and Dr Dre have said LL is the REASON WE ALL SAY AND USE THE TERM GOAT!!!! He should get residuals. He also is one of the greatest performers even now. no back tracks all live AND he was the first rapper to perform on MTV Unplugged.

I am a 57 yr old day 1 LL fan and I am extremely proud of LL because 40yrs later,he is still relevant. That speaks volumes! I am very excited that he is dropping a new album. From 1984 til present day I am still a Cool J fan.

I am 13 months older than LL and I started listening to his music at age 17. My favorite rapper has 40 yrs in hip hop! LL is a true artist that works on his craft. In the 🐐 debate LL is the most versatile. My 🐐's LL,Rakim,Cube,Face,Kane,Jay Z,and Nas. My being the operative word!

LL is the only rapper that owns a Sirius XM radio station and he gave ownership to other rappers like Kane,MC Lyte, Queen Latifah,Run-Dmc,DJ Kool Herk,and countless others.

One of the FIRST rappers to act, Will also both on Def Jam. This man was sellin 1 milion records and answering phones for Def jam and taking the training home. That slow jam rap alot of ppl do today and have done forever now even i the Latino community. I need Love started that. This dude is such a pioneer Eminem and DR dre inducted him into the Rock n Roll hall of fame last year. He was Drake before drake. Rappin and gettin all the girls but could battle and still have street songs as well. His video who shot ya first debuted a cameo of the Great Big Pun. I can go on and on.

You must be a Tariq Nasheed cult follower. Latinos have been in hip hop since the beginning in NYC. In fact, it was a Puerto Rican by the name of Mr Magic who was the first dj to have a radio show in NY that played hip hop.

To LL Point my 17 year old nephew just told me YESSTERDAY he loved Nirvana. And he dont even wanna F with most of the new music now. On God he said that. So To LL point, if it was an age thing or era thing how could he relate?!?!? Its a dope or wack thing. Dope is gonna be dope or have potential most of the time no matter what. Trash is trash no matter what. Now I say that, but there are SOME exceptions to the rune. There have been things I thought were trash but now love and sometimes vice versa. But that depends on the individual and what they are going thru in life.
