The KLF - Last Train To Trancentral (Live From The Lost Continent) (Official Video) An Atlas Adventure Directed by Bill Butt KLF Communications Listen to Solid State Logik 1: smarturl.it/KLFSSL1
Just think in another 30 years the people will look back and think Taylor Swift was the best and how they lived in the best era ever 😮 80’s and 90’s was the best for one reason alone. So many styles of music with great bands and great ideas.
I just turned 29 I found KLF a few years ago (Justified and Ancient) , just found this track for the first time tonight because another KLF fan told me to check it. I am jamming the F out to this and having a great time. What a damn good song.
Мне 51, и это нихера не ретро. Тащусь, музыка моей молодости, сколько всего было и под эту музыку тоже... В молодости под такой музон старый Ниссан Скайлан летал как ракета, с полным салоном девчуль😢😢🥰🥰😆
I am 14 years old. I was born 30 years too late. Where is all the energy in music gone today? Why don't they make things like that anymore? There is so so so much happening, you have to listen to it more than once... This is techno that looks and sounds like a rock concert - pure genius.
All the energy in music today has gone into greedy corporate bank accounts. The vast majority of music now that makes it to the "mainstream" only does so because it is profitable. I was your age when this album came out, and have seen the vast changes take place over time. The good news is there is plenty of new good music out there on the internet, you just have to dig through a lot of dirt to find some diamonds.
I remember asking the DJ at my brothers wedding for this, it was released around the same time I was only 9.. the The DJ played it at it absolutely took the roof off.. even my mum and dad were up dancing.. and years later when we watch the wedding video everyone just fast forwards it to the "KLF bit" Then one day.. disaster struck, my dad recorded over it with an episode of Eldorado.. nobody spoke to him for weeks.
One of the most EPIC, theatrical club tunes I ever heard in the clubs. And it still sounds epic today. It never ages. So many elements from House, Techno, Rap.
Much of the early 1990s music has a strong backbeat with quite deep basslines, use of piano, and a light/ambient layer similar to a string arrangement, if not the arrangement itself, that lingers in the background. Some listeners can choose to make this ambient background layer if not the focal point, but the carrier wave of sorts for the song they're listening. Similar in "Back To Life" by Soul II Soul, DNA ft. Susanne Vega with "Tom's Diner", "Unfinished Sympathy" by Massive Attack, "Stay" by Sheakespears Sisters, "Nothing Compares 2U" by Sinead O'Connor, "Missing" by Everything but the Girl, "You're Not Alone" by Olive, "It Feels So Good" by Sonique, "Would I Lie To You?" by Charles & Eddie, and "Who Is It" by Michael Jackson. Edit: Notice how most of the acts I've mentioned are from the UK and Ireland. Even in Prodigy's "No Good", there's a background layer that starts at the 1:40 timestamp into the song. Also, real instruments.
Saturday mornings in Australia were never the same again when KLF blasted out of Channel 10 still listening in 2024 btw [like everyone else] Love you Jimmy & Bill
When the radio would up the volume on those special moments and go back to normal when the drums/beats came back in! The same effect was done with Pet Shop Boys - Go West.
At 54 I'm still blasting KLF tunes....I'm a dj too, so I slip them in now and again. So bloody creative compared to these lot nowadays, manufactured kittens squealing the same old mush. Trance forever .
I just turned 29 I found KLF a few years ago (Justified and Ancient) , just found this track for the first time tonight because another KLF fan told me to check it. I am jamming the F out to this and having a great time. What a damn good song.
I’m gonna be 45 next month and I’ve bought this again as it makes me young again. My grown up kids are mortified seeing their fat auld mum jigging about to this but I give zero phucks!
Talented musicians feel the energy of time, in 1990 there was a change of eras of mankind, history shifted in time, it was cool, such powerful energy and emotions, thanks to KLF for expressing this in creativity, it will remain forever
I carry this unvaluable song right into my heart since 1991. I almost have no words to describe how good I feel hearing it, 'cause it brings all kind of beautiful memories to me at once. Thank you very much indeed KLF for so many pleasant times, when music was made by hand and thought for lasting indefinitely in people's mind. From Buenos Aires, Argentina, all my best for you!
This song from "The White Room" still sounds great even after all these years!. In fact, the whole album in my opinion sounded way ahead of it's time when it was released. Good times!! Bring back the heavyweight Jams!
Every single version of this song is epic, from the original 1988(?) long format version, through the chill album excerpts and then the 2 different versions on the white album. What a piece of music,!!!
Умеют всё-таки бриты делать музыку!!!! Столько лет прошло, фаны KLF уже состарились, а трек всё ещё огонь 🔥 Улетаешь вместе с поездом. Шедевр на все времена!
Those of us that grew up during this period never knew that we were experiencing the last generation of amazing club music. Back then, we thought it would get better and better, but it stagnated and everything became mass market & rap music became violence and depravity.
Oh yeah still listening in 2024, to me this wouldn't be out of place in today's charts and it's 33 years old!!! Brilliant piece of music, such chemically induced memories!!! 😜😜
This is one the best songs ever. KLF has a great style of music. Last Train to Trancentral set the standard for style very high that almost nothing could beat it. I'm wondering there aren't over 500 million views. Didn't live more people then when it came out or did they forget about it? 😊
This got me in happy tears while smiling like an idiot hearing this for the first time for over 20 years. The definition of eternal coolness of music video and the song itself (even the horse sounds, man!).
KLF was well ahead of their time. If they came 30 years later, they would be top international DJs. They were the early pioneers of dance and pushed the art of sampling to the breaking point and they did it with a punk / f-it, it’s art zeal. They are legends and their Chill out album is still one of the best chill out albums of all time. They were definitely blessed by the Ancients of Mu Mu.
them, bone thugs and harmony, uncle luke, brooklyn bounce, 2unlimited, highland. i remember jamming to this in my 96 escort, with sound system i installed in it myself, had two 15's, crappy boxes, but great amp, and some tweeters and 6/9's. was loud as hell
This track is just so above and beyond anything else from that era. The synths are so incredibly big. the melody in the middle is so stunningly beautiful. Just an epic wall of sound from start to finish
O M G.. i can't live without listening to my old tuuuuunes every now and then, for my own mental health and happiness..back in the days where life was much simpler than it is now!
This song came on my iTunes when I was driving Uber this one time. The passenger was very impressed and said that he hadn't heard it for years. He kindly gave me 5 stars! 😊👍🏻🇦🇺
Ouvindo esse belo som do The KLF, bate as recordações da House Music e da Casa Noturna, Toco Dance Clube. 'Last Train To Trancentral' estava no cardápio dos DJs. Great memories !!! ❤
Was für ein GEILER SOUND🤩 Still as amazing a back in the day, I still get goosebumps at the part starting at around 2 minutes. Teens today don’t realize what they missed, mainstream music is just sh*t today. Greetings and love to everyone born in 1976. And everyone else, too, let’s celebrate this monstertune🥳😎
It's like the video is an important, integral part of the song. The train, the steam, the mountains and hill, the atmosphere, the car, the sub, the stage, the diva, the sitars. It all belongs in there.
The artistry in this band is unbelievable. I would have been about 11 when this was a hit at 42 I truly appreciate the creativity and can see how it has influenced dance bands after. Mind-blowing!
I remember back in the day having KLF at full volume and the car at full throttle (200kms plus) in the middle of the night, and thinking to myself as the kilometres rolled on by, life just doesn't get better then this,
One of my first audio cassettes I ever bought was The White Room album. Still listening to it and love it and telling you it's not an album, it's an experience.
