that cover though... wow his pose is like a gunslinger from a western, down to the way he's holding the sonic

It was a great read and I can't wait for the next book, I loved the interludes too!

I feel like him defeating the bringers of death could lead to the doctor creating the immortals like fenric and the guy from ghost light Beings that can never be killed only corporeally disadvantaged temporarily

Just finished the book tonight and thought it was brilliant. The ties to waters of wars were great and the way the doctor was written was spot on for both his usual shtick and the time lord victorious arc.

I'd have a spoilery question. . . . . . Why did Estinee die in the end? Wasn't she supposed to be immortal? Otherwise I really enjoyed the book, but this keeps bugging me.
