To anyone that thinks she should continue appealing due to her age at the time of this horrific MURDER!! Here’s a little recap…Christa was a jealous, evil young woman who OBLITERATED Coleen’s skull and carved a pentagram on her chest!!! She pretended to be her friend and lured her into a secluded spot and tortured her and hit her head so hard with a piece of concrete that Coleen’s skull EXPLODED and Christa carried with her a piece of the skull and had it in her pocket when the police arrested her!! What if Coleen was your daughter? Would you still feel bad for this MONSTER!!!???
And Christa tried to strangle a woman to death while she's been in prison. She also tried to escape from prison using a dumb corrections officer. She is where she belongs. She's a danger to society. .
Hated at the end when they said Tadaryl was “wasted potential” and made him out to be a victim. No TF he was not! He is just as guilty as Christa and bother threw their lives away, while taking another.
InTress Porter Appeals process. That’s why death penalty cases cost more then life imprisonment. The convicted has the right to appeal their cases. Every aspect of the case. It’s truly sickening how long it goes on. They should just put a bullet in the back of their head after court. Wrongfully convictions are rare in death penalty cases.
You're Right - Rare is little comfort when someone you care about is wrongly executed. The death penalty should not exist in any civilised country. Rotting in a cell for the rest of your life is a fate much worse than lethal injection anyway, in my opinion. A proper ‘life means life’ sentence just isn’t enough in some people’s opinion, and while I understand where they’re coming from, I’m staunchly anti DP. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t want to wipe out someone if they killed my daughter, mind! I guess that may make me a hypocrite to some, but we’re all hypocrites at times.
Completely agree. 100%. People cannot truly comprehend what the victims go through at the hands of human beings without souls and their voices get lost. That’s wrong. And what’s unequal about a life for a life? And I love the whole “I just don’t believe in it” argument. Don’t get me started. And the majority of ppl on death row are right where they belong.
@@dimensionx9770 Or if he/she was murdered brutally while being tortured for hours... Sure the death penalty was kind of Harsh on a young lady like Pike, but still doesn't mean it shouldn't be an option.
you're right but the electrocution thing sounds terrifying and terrible. Such a thing is inhumane, the death penalty should be sufficient. Why does the judge have to be so graphic?@@paigealexander5601
I think once they have all the evidence and proof that someone is 100% guilty, they should be taken straight from court and put to death. These guilty sick people shouldn’t be a drain on tax payer.
Bull crap! As a Tennesseean I resent having had to feed, clothe and house this piece of filth for the past 30 years. She’s had her due process. End her.
I was a prison guard there where she was in 1997. I only talked too her once. she was allowed too come out of her cell onto the front porch too smoke and not into the main yard because of her age at that time being 19. could not come into the main yard until the age of 21 at that time. when her time was up from smoking I had too tell her it was time too go back too her cell. she did not want too go back in but finally did after telling her a couple times. all though I saw her a few more times before I left too go back too my old job. that was the only direct contact I had with her. but I can tell you she was not very friendly. and in 2001 she tried and was almost successful in strangeling another inmate with a shoe lace and was tried and convicted of first attempted degree murder. I do not know if she will ever get put too death but out of all the people on death row she deserves it for the crime she committed.
Thank you. I have heard it may be coming soon. Don’t know if it is true. Just a rumor. Someone needs to shave her head and let her go bald before the execution.
I knew a juror on this case. Christa didn't at first think they could convict her since she was cute. Then they'd never execute her, but she wrong. One evil girl.
@@omarayyash3275oh stfu , how absolutely pathetic. She inflicted extreme pain and suffering on a young girl , who was BRUTALLY MURDERED. Read how , and take a glance at the pictures. "Inhumane"
@@omarayyash3275 Nonsense. Electric chair was quick and the massive voltage hits so hard that the person's brain stops functioning within milliseconds.
she deserves the chair. She brutally murdered and beat a girl to death and carved penta grams in her skin??!?? And apparently kept the victims skull!??
I don’t understand why they won’t release the piece of skull to the victim’s mother. That’s very odd, it’s like letting Christa have her keepsake for as long as she’s living
It is weird considering she’s been convicted. Don’t get it. Usually after a conviction a case is closed, even though her death is pending that still makes no sense. She can’t get another trial so it’s weird
girl stfu , you would probably cry too if you were sentenced to death 🙄 making fun of people for crying is genuinely horrible how do yall say things like this
Her mom (& dad) contributed to the way she is & her grandmother contributed to the way her as well as mom is. Had she been a good parent chances are that innocent girl would be alive. I'm not saying it excuses what she did,at all. There are true crime channels on here that go into the details if your interested.
They need to make this into a movie so sad, but very interesting and people honestly need to raise an awareness that there are people like this I I feel like people tend to forget
"Solved the puzzle", "solved the puzzle", "solved the puzzle"... This girl came to school with a piece of skull bragging that she'd killed her love rival and eagerly confessed to the murder during the interrogation. What is there to "solve"? Such a stupid phrasing!!!
Judge: “you shall be put to death” “Her crying” Me: wait… What? Weren’t you just smiling like earlier when you just walked in? And didn’t that make you feel happy and proud when you killed that one girl in the woods..? So.. wait why aren’t you smiling when the judge said you’ll be on death row?
I can't even fathom the things she did, or why she did them, I cannot imagine it, but that's too much for the inhumane sentence, for the death penalty on it's own should be sufficient.
@@omarayyash3275You have to understand something. In 1996/97, that is all that Tennessee had, and she was sentenced to death, so the chair is what she got.
Well she tortured that Colleen slimmer and Colleen slimmer needs Justice and may Martinez has been waiting you imagine 45 minutes your loved one tortured by a jealous twisted no good for nothing psychopath?
Why do taxpayers have to support someone for 25 + years after they've been convicted and sentenced to death? Yes, appeal to make sure the right person is incarcerated but 25 years?
I jus looked at this jus a minute ago on deadly women why is she still alive but then want to cry and break down but you killed that innocent girl for what she didn't deserve that you brutally killed her. What about when that innocent girl was crying for help you didn't care there is a special spot in hell waiting for you so you can be tortured
two wrongs don't make it right. Death alone is enough without it being extreme like the electric chair or whatever. Whoever invented this inhumane thing, I hope they get justice for creating a terrible inhumane invention, for it is.
LOOK AT HER SMILING LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED!! SHE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO SHAME!! OR REMORSE WHAT SO EVER!! POOR WOMAN KILLED OVER SOMETHING WORTHLESS, 😢 TO ALL WHO HAD PART IN THIS GIRLS DEATH, YOU SHOULD ALL SUFFER IN JAIL TILL YOUR LAST BREATH!!!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬
Absolutely! Life without parole much bettah. 23 of 24 hrs a day in a 6 x 6 cell with a concrete bunk and a stainless steel crapper that's a hole in the floor with a small stainless basin that has a trickle of water constantly you cannot stop. No appeals and no mercy.
@@mzdkkeller not everyone who has life without parole is in isolation, which is what you're describing. life without parole inmates can be in gen pop, where they have a normal inmate life.
If she hadn’t kept a piece of the victim’s skull I would say maybe they should reconsider it but after hearing that. A big NO for me. That’s cruel and creepy
They should sentence all three of them to death that were involved in Colleen's slimmers death because the mom made Martinez is seeking Justice for her loved one she had a very beautiful daughter and I hope that she gets this message May her daughter Coleen slimmer rest in peace and Justice will be served.
Cruel of the state to keep Colleen's skull fragment. They could instead document it, take 3D video of it with scale and allow it to be given bavk to the mother.
So life in prison is more torture for Crystal Pike but remember Colleen slimmer's family and decide what they want for Chris to Pike yeah the death penalty doesn't deter everything but in this crime I think it is justified
I’ve almost always been against the death penalty but in this case I believe it’s the humane thing to do. She’s certainly no better than the thousands of dogs the put to death in that state. Wow!
the death sentence she's getting to me is purely inhumane. There should be a humane way of killing someone, especially a female, especially one who was crying for her life terrified after the judge handed that sentence.
It was "taTadarell" fault as much as it was Pikes. I honestly can't believe that they're mentioning the fact that he's a good artist... it's pathetic...
You likely don't even know the difference between voltage and current. Even electro-shock therapy renders the person instantly unconscious. Movies are not real.
May Martinez needs Justice for cooling slimmer I hope that may Martinez gets Justice for her daughter and Christa Pike means the electric chair no mercy for Crystal Pike.
She's in that prison feeling so sorry for her own self. She has the audacity to write a letter claiming to have done Colleen a favor by bashing her skull in so that she dies quicker? How about the life that Colleen didn't get to live? Missing out on having children and a family. Missing out on seeing her mom and her mom seeing her. Christa deserved the death penalty YESTERDAY. She shouldn't still be here.
It would have never took them that long to kill a black girl on death I feel like this state of Tennessee is very hateful they don't have no remorse for no human being in the state of Tennessee Intuit happened to one of their kids 😮😢
Leave her in prison for the rest of her life , killing her won’t bring that poor girl back to life . Coleen’s mother needs to realize that by killing pike it’s not like she will feel better . I know I wouldn’t . If you take away freedom to a person it’s already the worst punishment.
and I hate this government wanting to abolish the death penalty in the United States with life in prison that is not the way society should be we have a death penalty for a reason anyone who commits murder should be put to death or should be paying with their life not sitting prison and waste taxpayers money it's just the way for the government to make more money to hold it on and on and on and on and on saying they're going to execute someone and then when they finally do they wish they would have kept that person alive to make more money to you as well so I don't really like the failure in the Injustice system there are a lot of flaws in it but when we execute someone innocent we pay dearly for executing someone innocent and realize that we got the wrong person we should have left that one be exonerated from death row?
it's the inhumane ways of killing people. I advocate for the death penalty but not this kind for a young woman, no matter her crime. She was 18 years old and a female. A death sentence by electrocution is inhumane, death is enough on it's own. The death penalty would have been enough for her, not by electrocution though, that's terrifying.@@donowens5883
that was also 18 when she got that sentence, so it's brutal. The judge didn't just say you'll get death, but you'll get the death sentence of electrocution, taking it too far.@@donowens5883
If she did what she did to your daughter would she deserve a second chance . Do y’all pay attention? It was her & her bf, but mostly her doing the killing & he is still in prison. She picked up a cider block to finish the girl 👧
