The Kohler Numi 2 is one of the wildest - and smartest - toilets on the market. This $7,000 commode is completely hands free and plays music and birdsong while you go. It's truly an amazing little robot.
For how small volume these artpieces are, I sorta understand the pricetag. Meant for McMansions and seven digit homes exclusively pretty much. I really wonder how much Kohler makes margin wise to quantity sold just to make this toilet worth to sell.
Pompous Kohler sales man : It comes down to education, no one is educated in America. Americans : We are educated enough not to flush $8000 down the drain
Like I want to have a conversation with Alexa while taking a shit. Besides, I'm sure Alexa will have some comments when I cut a huge fart., on make a big splash from an excessively big turd!!
I bought a bidet for $40 and installed myself. Next winter I'll get a heated seat for $$150. You just have to know what you want and get it. Here you're paying for a bunch of nothing with these. Warm butt water to clean with and heated buns with memory foam at my feet, I mean I'm not rich by any extent of the word, but my bathroom time feels quite nice.
Does it have the gas interceptor feature ... like if you have really loud gas ... could it anticipate it and play Beethoven's moonlight sonata over it.
$8000 for a toilet? It's like just add Smart to anything and you're up in the big leagues. Smart Oven, Smart Cooktop, Smart Sink, Smart Shower, Smart lunchbox, Smart tables, chairs, and what not.
Since forever! We have traveled over a great deal of Europe and integrated bidet/toilets are very popular in the more high end homes. Never seen one of these though!
@@afvacenah. I’m sure it’s completely different. It wouldn’t cost $8k if it functioned like a regular toilet. There’s no way he added all that smart stuff and didn’t consider the basics
while i could very much get used to bidets and warming seats, and maaaybee some form of lighting, i still see no reason why it needs to be auto-opening, auto-closing, auto-flushing, nevermind be AI / internet enabled. Also, the square seat shape looks really uncomfortable to sit on.
@@sortathesame8701 ur kinda right and kinda wrong. Products like this create a great divide and that's a problem when there are people that take dumps in holes in the ground or on the street.
You know what works just as well? A regular toilet. Literally NONE of this a necessity. It serves no purpose. Do I really need LEDs for taking a dump? Do I REALLY need a motorized cover? Do I REALLY, REALLY need Alexa listening to my bowels for a keyword? Also, square? Really?? Do you know how uncomfortable that looks to sit on?
Wait till you rush to the bathroom to take a dump. To find it twitching and not working. Then the digital controller swells like a convienient store borrito, fresh out of warranty.
This thing, Kohler Numi 2.0 was supposed to be available in 2019, then they said July 2020. Then they said it will be going on sale in 2021 and we are in 2021 now and nothing. Why didn’t they put it on sale. Why didn’t Kohler launch pre-orders?
what if you have diareaah when theres a power outage and the seat lid won't open so you take a massive wet dookie in your pants while you try and yank the lid off
My toilet stopped holding the water. The ball that opens and closes went out . Had to order a APHA TRAP ASSEMBLY. KOHLER says this part goes out after SOME TIME. That to me is a defect. I bet the new NUMI 2.0 does not have this anymore . The part cost me 550.00. KOHLER also told me that if I had the fancy remote this could of been prevented. I also ordered fancy remote. To install the APLHA TRAP ASSEMBLY that have to remove the whole toilet to install this part . Plumber coming next week
Butt scan too (like fingerprint scanner) to determine who's using the toilet. Analyzes the color of your urine to give you warning if you need to drink more water or see a doctor. Makes a time chart for you that syncs to your phone. Analyzes your feces for food recommendations to make the bowel movements easier. Lol!
There’s is NOTHING that’s this toilet does that makes it priced at $8,000. Alexa integration, speakers, motorized lid, a bidet, seat warmer and leds. That’s no more than $1000
Just Another reason to waste more time in the bathroom and yet another to dive deeper into pointless tech addiction. But hey to each his own, it’s a nice toilet, but what’s the point of dynamic lighting on a toilet? 😂 the bathroom light is usually on isn’t it
A smart toilet now? Wow the things which corporates put out, touting consumer insights as the cornerstone of such R&D. I wonder the sample size which actually told them they needed a stereo in their shitcan and fancy 'ambient' lighting. What lies to justify overdesign and a waste of resources.
It is clear over designing... And it's for peope that overpay for shit that doesn't make damn sense. I actually think it's quite gross to have my poo slide down a speaker/ led / touchscreen machine.lmao
Its fucking 10 Grand!! Plus, i don't want my ass sprayed with toilet water. 8-10 grand just to take a normal shit smh. Not EVERYTHING has to be a "smart device".
