Hotkeys are all about getting used to them, doesn't matter too much what they are. For buildings I actually like the standard DE hotkeys with some changes (select tc, select all tc and select all military buildings of a type are changed). The snek has said himself that his hotkeys aren't optimal for other people but he's just used to them so they work for him
