wow that's quite amazing. Fearless Ashanti warriors they were, that s why the language survived for so long

that's because most of the maroons and creol in suriname are kromanti (Ghana) descendants

wow! I understand a good amount of what this man is saying. I am an ashanti and I hear the language very clearly. It is incredible that we have been able to maintain for so long. I hear the words "WU"- to die and Pete Pete which I think goes to the name of a vulture Apete which eats dead flesh. crazy.

feriaz which language? I'm still struggling to see what's patois and what's "Kromanti".they look very similar...

Otávio Kremer Abuchaim In suriname there's 3 kind of languages: sranang tongo (creol from suriname) nenge tongo an okanisi tongo (language from the Ndjuka and Aluku maroons) and Saramacans or Saramaka Tongo (language of the Saramaka maroons). Kromanti is the language of the descendants of ashanti fante ewe enslaved ghaneans.

I think the krumanti has alot of nigerian english pronounciation..unlike the accompong's language thats very similar to twi...the ahsanti language

Koromanti is ashanti as well that is why its called "Koromanti" Just like the word accompong is ashanti.
