If you are prepared to actually take care of a Range Rover, it is the best SUV you can possibly get. Nothing else compares to the comfort and capability in that price range. There is something about the driving position and the visibility that I have not found in any other vehicle. Specifically on the L405 (I have yet to drive the L460), and especially with the bright interior as yours is specced here. It gives a certain pleasantness that is hard to find.
I think this is just about the perfect era of car. Just enough electronic assists and comfort features, but not so many that it becomes annoying. Like anything with forced lane assist or silly motion controls.
A fun tidbit about the V6 version of the Range Rover is that the 3L supercharged V6 is based around the 5L V8, including the 90 degree bank angle. It's literally the same size of the V6 dimensionally. As for a similar vehicle, probably a VW Touareg or Atlas. Or a Volvo XC90
If we’re working within that price range, I think the Audi Q7 meets all of those requirements and then some. While I think the L405 is a respectable model, there is certainly room for improvement
