The LA Chargers have a great team going into next year. If these young WRs can be great they could have a shot at the Super Bowl.

The running back room is way better than last year no doubt. Ladd will be the X factor!

The line will definitley be better, which will make the RB's better. But I've got no illusions of JKD being anything after so many injuries. I do like Vidal though!

Best oline since 2006. As a unit the running back room could be the most productive in franchise history if everyone stays healthy. I'm 31 and was a kid when the term "Marty ball" meant run 1st philosophy. Looking forward to a run 1st team with Herbert as quarterback. He'll be able to do soooo much more with a coaching philosophy such as Marty ball.

RB room is a massive upgrade! This is the best room we’ve had since LT, sproles, Turner. Ekeler was a passing threat and was fast. But every team has a guy like that. We can finally pound the rock and these new guys have speed. Much more physical group

Ekeler was becoming toxic. He would've failed in this new offense cause he's not a every down running back and can't handle multiple carries. Not to mention hes almost 30 which makes you more injury prone at the RB position. He made his choice. He didn't deserve to be paid like top 5 running back cause he's not. Maybe top 10 but not top 5

Having followed the Charger since 1969, I have learned just as a battered wife learn's eventually that after each battering he apologizes and promise's he will never hit her again, well after years of having my unconditional support, enthusiasm and watching great season's that made you believe that they were destined to go the distance watch destiny face plant at 14-2 record to a 9-7 team that did less to win than the Charger's did to beat themselves for the other team (Keading 2 consecutive post season years missing exactly the number of chip shot field goal's that the other team needed to win, chips from the 35 and less after hitting goals from 45 to 50 yrds out all season,) I learned after one too many broken heart's and absolute frustration to never talk about the post season they are sure to go to before game one has been played, no matter how stacked with talent they have going in, no matter how spectacularly they looked like a well oiled precision machine they looked in preseason. After their loss to a Jet's team at home in 10 after going 13-3, that was the straw that finally broke my back. After the loss I thought of every Charger team that went to the post season over the years and the fact that the only team that went to the SB (94 Bobby Ross team) was arguably the least name talent. What made that team with the least known talent (Seau, Harrison, Means) different from the rest? I realized out of all the other team's, they had heart, they were dismissed by all prognosticators to end up dead last in the west. They had something to prove and they were determined to stick it to those who wrote them off. Their coach was a great motivator and their QB who had been number 2 in Washington and watched his team in the SB holding a clip board. We lost our starter in the first pre season game 3 min into the 1st qtr and he was brought to the chargers. He was not fancy or as high calibur as Elway or Marino, or montana or Young, but he was not prone to making dumb mistakes under pressure that lost games and the defense which had been among the best for several season's and capable of holding top offense's to few enough point's that if they had had better than so, so offense's, had every chance to catch up and possibly win. In 94 they finally did. the least number of above average talent team and at best 45-1 shot of going to the dance, took us to our dream's after so many time's we flew higher than the clouds only to crash and burn with the run way so close we could almost touch it. So my long winded point to all of you, keep a tight hold on the reins of your hope's dream's and loyal enthusiasm until they have played their final game, if they make post season, guardedly optimistic and if they win the AFC and are headed to the dance, then let it all off the leash with abandon. don't be that battered wife/ fan.
