Man Rage had been working on her album for two years and still did not have it completed by the time Pac came. Dr Dre leaving and being slow in the studio is what hindered Rage. The beef was 96, Rage had a big Buzz in 94 with Afro Puffs.

It wasn’t really Dre’s fault cause I bet there’s a lot of unreleased songs that he’s done on Death Row and Aftermath, I hate when people say that Dre is slow, no he’s not, he got songs done but just won’t release them. Plus I read that Rage wouldn’t like some beats and shit so it wasn’t Dre’s fault. I read Rage didn’t want to rap on Afro Puffs cause the beat was too west coast; but Dre told her to stop complaining and get on it, Suge, Dre they loved it, Rage got mad that they released the song because she thought it was gonna ruin her career; but it became a hit. So it’s not Dre’s fault, that Rage was too picky with the beats instead of trusting Dre and just going along with it.

Puffy & Biggie were involved with the Murder (Jake Robles) & Attempted Murder (DPG) of her labelmates and Security Staff, but yet she loved them so much. I've never heard of anybody from Bad Boy expressing love towards her or DPG. Remember after Death Row turned into the " TITANIC ", Rage was " HOMELESS " in New York, sleeping in studios. We aren't young anymore, and the mistakes made then had real ramifications. I don’t know why people think the Deathrow/bad boy beef started when PAC got there. It started in Atlanta when Suges friend was shot outside OG Vees club. Deathrow music was built on beef. The chronic went at ruthless, Tim Dog, Uncle Luke, as well as others, tha dogg pound was dissing Bone Thugs, Biggie had their trailer shot up with the radio interview. PAC being mad at Biggie and puffy for his New York shooting was just the extra gasoline that Deathrow needed.

Thursday, 22 December, 2022: Folks keep in mind I'm fifty years old. Rage "Afropuffs" came out when I was only 22yrs. old. . . As far as hip-hop is concerned that's an "eternity" ago, whew'. Very, very few people had cell phones, almost nobody had even heard of a "website" or had any type of computer whatsoever. Heck, even "beepers" weren't even popular at all back then. Gas was less than a dollar/gal. There was ZERO streaming anything, nothing. Everything was still analog NOT digital yet. There was NO PLAYSTATION or Xbox, it was still a Nintendo world with "game cartridges". Remember MP3's and Limewire, that wasn't even close to being out yet. For my slightly younger generation you have to keep in mind that putting out an entire album back then was TOTALLY dependent on your record company unlike today. I just wish some of the older artists being interviewed would shed a little more light about being an artist in the "analog era" versus today...

Kurupt made lots of good points but it still makes me think of the Jewell interview and the Sylk E Fine interview about how everyone treated their women compare to the West coast or More so Death Row

East coast is Rage fan based. It was best no to involve herself in the beef. Nothing good came out that anyway. She was popular on sitcoms and other deathrow hits. She didnt even diss ruthless if Im correct. She just focus on her lyrical skills
