This walk takes in 3 Wainwrights. The Old Man of Coniston, Brim Fell and Swirl How. The Old Man and Swirl How are only 1m apart in height with the dip of Brim Fell inbetween.
I start and end at The Sun in Coniston which is a nice reward at the end of this popular hike.
The Old Man is a favourite of mine and a great walk with stop offs at the copper mine and Low Wate on the way up, rewarding views at the top and waterfalls on the way down.
