Whenever I’m in a city with any sort of transit, I’ve got to do a couple “missions” like this one. Ferries are my favourite, Vancouver and Seattle have excellent networks. I’d love to explore the LA area by bike and train. In Calgary where I’m from, we have barely any transit so all my adventures have to be entirely bike based!
That destination sign to Irvine is really old and the IE OC line is much older than the 91 Perris line; that is, there were no trains to Los Angeles from La Sierra when it was installed.
