I know that trail. Years ago we started in Crescent Meadow, took the High Sierra Trail to Lone Pine Creek, swung north over Elizabeth Pass into Deadman Canyon and then cross country to Big Bird Lake. From there we went over the ridge to Tablelands and contoured up to Pear Lake. From there we hiked the trail back to Crescent Meadow. Beautiful trip.
I have been to Heather Lake. It's Beautiful. I was 16. If I remember correctly, It is a Moderate (Steep) Trail. I just did a Video Series on Sequoia. New here. Great Video.
Did this hike last may. It was foggy the entire time and still had snow. We could only go to first lake. But it was absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to make the trip and do it again
@@panasblogfoxie6030 all I can account for is the first lake, but yes. Easily. Even with setting up hammocks and relaxing up top for a while, I think the hike was only about 8 hours. If you're a fast hiker, you could obviously cut that time down
Whew...beautiful! As Californians are blessed with so many awesome places to go within a realatively short drive. The Sierras are the best....that's my unbiased opinion of course!😋
