The Lament of the Elven Warrior 

In twilight's glow, her beauty shines so bright,
A graceful elven warrior, clad in armor white,
With eyes like stars that pierce the darkened skies,
Her flowing flaxen hair, in war's fierce storm it flies.
With bow in hand, unmatched her skill and grace,
She moves like wind, no foe can match her pace,
Her arrows fly, swift justice in their flight,
A guardian in shadows, battling for the Light.
In battles fierce, where numbers hold their sway,
A warrior proud, her valor leads the way,
She stands her ground, a beacon shining bright,
With every strike, she drives away the Night.
A human warrior, as fate would have it, stole her heart,
In love they fought, together, never once did part,
Two souls warred as one, in brutal battle side by side,
Against the orcish horde, by their arrows scores have died.

Yet fate was cruel, her love did meet his end,
An orcish blade, his mortal life did rend,
She wept and cursed her skill, her elven pride,
For she could not protect him by her side.
In sorrow deep, she mourns beneath the moon,
Her heart now heavy with a mournful tune,
Her beauty fades, consumed by grief and strife,
Herself she blames for losing her love's life.
