NetNews AF there are a few sounds pushtoons can't pronounce..... some northern languages have words that I have seen pushtoons stuck on...

Sami Ullah hardcore Pashtuns who speak pakhto and pronounce everything with kh instead of sh have trouble saying sh I believe, I’m Pashtun I speak English primary farsi secondary and pashto as a last resort. My family speaks farsi and pashto and we interchange in both languages and a lot of people I know are hardcore accents

@@TariqNavabiGaming accent is something other than sound. Accent may and always vary within those speaking a certain language. But what I wanted to say was a standard Pashto as a language, according to it's alphabets, there is no single sound that it does not occupy as against many other languages which totally miss a sound for example 'D or ڈ' is not there in Arabic and Persian. Same is the case with 'ٹ or ڑ'

Pashto has no origins from Hindi or urdu. It is an extremely old language and historians still search for its roots. The real Pashto actually sounds very different from the way we speak it today. Today, lots of words from different languages are mixed with it. But in reality, it is a completely different language. Almost like comparing todays english with Shakespearean english; but even more extreme lol

To be precise, Pashto is from the Iranian Language family, which means its most closely related to Persian, kurdish, etc. There are many dialects, and unique pronounciations, but overall vocab and grammer is most similar to other Iranian languages.
