I know this is a old video, but it's very helpful and wanted to express my thanks. I have an old a530 stove that leaks at the seams of the bottom edge of the tank. Was going to fix it but I would never trust it. Don't want to play with a fire ball. It's still fun to look at because the chrome is still shiny.

Your videos are the best, but they could be better. I do not intend to be unkind Sir. You are one of the best of the best! You have taught me a few things., Thank You! Can you make a more complete video and test it with the fuel valve and generator on and open? How do you remove the water that got into the air pump? This is a very educational video. All Coleman gas pressure items should be pretested for air leaks before adding fuel. Other leaks can occur when the fuel valve wheel is opened. The valve packing can leak (air) fuel. The jam nut on the generator can leak (air) fuel. The absolute way to test for leaks is under water to find the slightest of leaks. Turning the generator tip cleaner down (off) with the fuel valve open with air pressure and no fuel would identify any leaks. Most all Coleman generator tips will leak slightly. I found a very slight air leak with this air testing. The tip cleaner was bubbling a slight bit of air. I simply tightened it with the proper size wrench to seal it. The check valve should not ever have water in it. Putting your thumb over the handle shows if it is leaking. If air is leaking the handle will rise. I would love it if you made a more complete video. Thank you for the education!

Great information. Have you ever tried gas tank liner in a leaky lantern tank? I have been tempted to use Red Kote. I have some old jerry cans that I am going to line with it. POR 15 makes a great tank sealer but it is a one shot deal. The Red Kote excess can be poured off and used in another tank. Also when you soldered the tank did you use silver solder? I find it does a better job in type of work. Keep up the good work.
