The level of depth you have gone to, the number of years of Titan and its evolution, it’s ads, customer brand building, placement, acquisitions and how it has affected Titan’s growth and differentiation etc etc which you have analysed, explained in simple terms and expended so much effort into this… kudos! small correction, after compounding at 20.1% the returns are 3,641,613% (PERCENT) meaning that it would be the return on every $100 invested further implying that every dollar would turn into $36,416 and not $3641613. That's mind-blowing nonetheless, Great video! Cheers!

The biggest anti thesis pointer is there is no margin of safety if the thesis goes wrong the stock price can correct more than 40% from current levels if you call yourself a value investor do you find any value in buying a company at this valuation?

Margin of safety is an incredibly pertinent point. Titan currently (June 26 2022) is at 5 year average PE. In the absence of any tailwind for titan (triggers for revenue growth, margin growth are absent currently in the backdrop of high inflation environment), it will be interesting to look at Apr-June quarter result and management guidance in their commentary.

Then when u will buy these companies.......at one time p/e wil look very high.,..then earnings will grow..eps increases p/e decreases......i have been seeing this happening in asian paints , page industries etc......i keep buying when i get 10% correction....otherwise wait for events like GFC and Covid

Titan should start at least 20 stores in Kerala and try for better penetration. Kerala is a big market for gold and there Titan means only watch. They should increase the awareness in south India.

I think buying apple share is same as buying a jewellery ,watchwear company at much sustainable growth there are more mobile stores than jewellery stores also the ticket size to buy mobile is equivalent to jewellery and also people change mobile phones more frequently than jewellery

There are different voices regarding nature of company and their growth prospect. For instance people say large cap company do not have much growth prospect, instead small cap can grow faster. On the other hand some argue that the big will become bigger. What is your opinion regarding it??
