Great session, thank you! One more important aspect is net interest margin. Currently their NII is around 13%. I feel it is going to extremely difficult to maintain this margin as they are increasing mortgages. So event if they manage to keep growing AUM at 30% CAGR, their PAT might not grow at that level is what I feel.

Awesome session guys. Much appreciated. Few questions: 1. Missed the AGM. Can you point to a place where I can access recordings / minutes? 2. What % share of the overall AUM size of Indian Banks & NBFC is with BF? 3. Recently saw an article wherein it mentioned credit growth in India being 13%, a new high. Does it not give comfort about future growth prospects for BF? 4. Stock price mirror Earnings growth. Ofcourse valuations matter. Do you see BF as a 20% CAGR earnings growth & stock price performer for a 5 plus year period? Thanks once again for the session.

Kudos to both of u and you guys are doing well interms of insight and breef details of nbfcs. As far as bfl is concerned It had not been money making mashine for last three years dispite being best nbfc. What may be the reason stocks that are not as good as bajaj finance have doubled after Corona but it gave only decent returns dispite lowest NPAs in its sector.

Hi,@soic, Thanks for the session. You explained that BAF doesn't go above 6.8X in leverage & as soon as they reach there, They raise equity which will cause leverage to go down. Can you pls explain what does Raising equity mean ? Does owner(s) sells his own shares ?

issue extra shares . as equity is increased, the no. of shares increase (so eps decreases) .. however since growth is anticipated , addition of new capital shares wil be beneficial.
