I think the reason the 2C shells surprisingly pen when you think they wouldn't is that they have an absolutely massive amount of filler when compared to other 75s. Even if they barely pen or non pen they end up doing some form of explosive damage.

You should play the L-62 ANTI II, the Finnish anti-air with a larger cannon than many of the swedish tanks at its br level

I love how if you cut off the turrets, superstructures and sponsons on both tanks, Char 2C and Mark VIII Liberty International base are so much alike... and yet there is no suspension on the latter and there were never plans to put Liberty engine(s) onto the former. It also highlight the doctrine difference between french and british approach to heavy tanks of WWI despite having similar trench crossing requirements - brits decided to use sponsons to simplify development and production and to lower the center of mass. French said screw it all and walked their own path, again.

Fun fact, the shell the Char 2C used in real life had more penetration than the one it has in game, even more weird is that the shell they gave it in game is completely made up Also I'd love it if they could add the Lorraine variant where they up armored the tank by giving it 90mm frontal armor and 65mm on sides. Makes it a 75 ton monster

the T-28 that nonpenned you at 9:30 was a T-28 1938. The 2C is resistant to .50 cal, so it makes sense that it can resist a 76 with about the same pen as a .50 (seriously, its 37mm of pen)

The 2C (okay and the AB-43) have got to be my favorite vehicles in the game. 2.3 is an amazing tier for getting money and every time I take it I get 12+ kills

Spookston The matilda is a heavy tank. If there was any tank that you couldn't pen, it would be the matilda. Saying "I can't EVEN pen the matilda" is like saying I can't even lift a car up. It's literally one of the best armored tanks on the tier.

I never know how people have problems with killing this thing when you have a side shot. It has its ammo rack directly under the main turret and even with a pretty dinky gun you can make all the crew go boom.

In my experience, the 2c and 2c bis both excel at locking down and holding a point in an urban map. Especially when you got a bis and 2c working together, I have helped win matches by just holding down a point with a battle buddy in a 2c while I delete hard targets with a 2c bis.

Hey Spook, since you like rat tanks, you should play the Italian R3 T106 FA. It's basicly a T114, but with 2 barrles and no autoloader.

Man the face on that 2C bis is horrifying. Also (day 6 asking) you should try the Japanese STA1/2/3/Type 61 (they're all kinda the same), decent mobility, good gun and great sight magnification makes them pretty fun to play.

I've found that this works very well in a 2.3 lineup but does terribly in a 2.7 lineup, the difference is honestly alarming. I like to pair it with the B1bis and the AMD 35 (the reserve armored car whose name is similar to like 5 other tanks)
