Actually, Death is just a deliverer of death, not the embodiment of Death itself. He just carries the souls to where they need to go, and knows when to take and when to leave.
I've never listened to Lost read a grim dark before. Thanks to twitter, I wanted this one to be my first. This was masterfully executed! I still have chills.

That "Raze this barn" quote was my favorite touch x3 Though I'm a little upset that Death is portrayed as so passively malicious...he' Death; he's not evil, nor good... but eh, it isn't my story, and it's still well written and well-read! :)
I am the author of this story. My belief was that since Death is sentient and immortal, he takes on different personalities for different periods of time, just to keep his existence interesting.
Holy crap.Death saved her!Perhaps the evil in deaths eyes were just a manifestation of common fear of dying.Though death can be cruel that does'nt mean its evil.When you think about it Death's job is hard so perhap's his cold smile is simply him staying strong because he knows the world needs him
In the MLP universe time travel is cannon, so all Applejack would need to do is cause a causal loop. Her memories of the death of her family become part of the mendella effect for everyone involved.

Im slowly getting back into grimdark, but after something sweet to bite I gave it up. That story scared me to death.Ima start small and move my way up again :3

Wow, that was horrible! I really enjoyed that one. A great bit of Grimdark. Spooky as hell with; the thing you dare not look at, but, at some point, you know you must!

This reading is good, but I feel like this story has too many hoity-toity fancy words. Of course, I'm not saying that stories should all have incredibly simple words, but there's such a thing as... too much, y'know? Kinda like the story "Blood Whistle", that Super Mario creepypasta.
