When we adopted Penelope from China 5 years ago, we began a multi-year process of repairing her cleft lip and palate and restoring her teeth. So much of that process has been a hurry up and wait, with surgeries and procedures and then "no let's wait until your jaw matures enough to fix the rest." Well, we are finally to this final stage of preparing for the big surgeries later this year. Penelope got braces this week! We couldn't be more excited for her, but she is definitely more excited than even we are! #familyvlog #parenting #adoption #bigfamily
