In this video I check out one of my most anticipated indie games of 2023 - The Last Case of Benedict Fox by Plot Twist Games. The Last Case of Benedict Fox is a Lovecraftian Metroidvania which oozes style, sophistication, and atmosphere. In this gameplay preview - I dive into the Steam Next Fest demo of Benedict Fox, and explore its many apparent charms that is bringing us metroidvania fans.
The Last Case of Benedict Fox gameplay captured in this preview is from the Steam Next Fest version of the game, which I checked out around a week or so ago. I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts on what you think of Benedict Fox, and if you'll be checking it out for yourself! The game is set for release on April 27th on Xbox & PC via Steam - and will also launch into Xbox Game Pass day one too! I simply cannot wait!! 🔥🥳

@@TheIndieGamer Liked the narration and art/shadow play of this world. The gameplay on the other hand does not look like my kind of game. Not 100% why, but I keep on playing different backlog games this year and hope to learn more about my own game taste. Like had started Bioshock several times before not going further than hour. This year tried it again and really got sucked not only to its world but to gameplay. So I am keeping open mind, sometimes in the end it will click.
