Elvis was working so hard that he had. drug problems....I heard several people tell same story that elvis got hooked on pills while he was in the army. Just by seeing him on this program and seeing the picture of him 20 years before...boy he let himself go,
What I don’t like is the fact that these same people who were bitching and griping in this documentary about all the things he did they were doing it to all the while having a hand in his pocket, if you get my meaning😢
@@davidboone7351 so they didn't get elvis hooked on drugs and they were his employees so yes he paid them. The only person who could've helped elvis get clean was elvis. He was a grown man and in life you make your own decisions
The Memphis mafia was the people who worked for him, a body guard, accounting, security etc, so of course he paid them. It was his manager that was taking 50 percent of his earnings
@DesireeBoone; he paid hard for his fame, and doing 3 shows a night was suicide. I mean no wonder he started taking uppers. And to boot, ENT DR GAVE HIM LIQUID COCAINE FOR HIS THROAT. I know ENT Drs did this, cuz I worked for a Dr. In Beverly hills, doing physical exams for the INS. Companies for many Celebrities and Rick bands. In the 70's there was detail pharmacuticalpersins leaving samples like it was candy. I know cuz I used to take the dexadrines and black beauties to lose weight. I wish ELVIS would've known Dr. Shapiro cuz he put me on a protein diet and I lost 80 lbs with liquid protein. I looked good! ELVIS WAS a patient down the street of an Eye speacial, I saw him a couple of times go there. One time I ride the elevator with him and I guess where his body guards. I also saw him at Anaheim in '76. But, in '73 I met him in Vegas by mistake, in back of the International Hotel as I walked back from throwing away a bottle of champagne, we had drank celebrating my friends wedding! So, I'm a great fan since I was around 9 yrs old. 😉
@@davidboone7351: yes, I got pissed at the Memphis Mafia guys, that did the drugs with him and they did not sing their asses out as ELVIS did. He needed uppers to do three shows a day. Even if he sang one hour a show, it is still too much. That SOB if the CORNEL, out our ELVIS in a early grave. Sorry for the long post, but I get so angry. I loved him so much and the more I find out the more I hate the CORNEL! 😊
What do you mean? They cared but at the end of the day, the one who would've needed to want to change was Elvis and if he didnt want to, no one could force him. The man was his own worst enemy.
@thomaspostman: yeah, but they did the drugs with him. But they don't say that here. HYPOCRITES! AND DON'T GET ME STARTED WITH THAT SOB OF CORNEL THE ILLEGAL ALLIEN 💩. 😊
@@FlameHAZE2010: he was bored, couldn't go out as a regular citizen. He couldn't go to a restaurant or a movie unless he rented the place after closing! 😞😊
Colonelul a fost vinovat de tot ! L a obligat sa faca concerte obositoare unul dupa altul ! Chiar si cand Elvis se simtea rau ,acel nemernic l a obligat sa urce pe scena ! I au bagat capul in apa înghețată 😭😭
Being a Priscilla fan I remind everyone who viewed this vlog that Priscilla was a thankless long time girlfriend who had no friends outside Elvis' family. No choices of her own made her a prisoner to her life with Elvis. Like her, I love him and the changes he gave his generation and the generations to come. But, as we all know he was one ramped up, wild rock n roller. She sought the openly romantic life in a man that everyone knew would be her perfect shelter. Plus, how much could any woman stand knowing how many side romances Elvis had.
And like everyone else, she's also responsible for her choice to stay. Nobody held her hostage except possibly her opportunistic parents and siblings, who benefited handsomely for years from her connection to Elvis. Having read many dozens of memoirs, I know the following for certain: every single one is written from one perspective only, an accounting of something simply being printed on paper does not guarantee it to be the indisputable truth, and it's impossible to verify the accuracy of conversations or events between two people, with no witnesses to provide corroboration, and especially when one is now dead. At least half of Elvis and Me I just don't believe. Priscilla is a master manipulator who's worded her accounts to make her a victim of Elvis' control, yet her post Elvis choices of men have shown she's gullible to the manipulations of a series of men only interested in her for her money, now former good looks, but mostly her celebrity. We all get back what we give out and sometimes a lot more...just to get a karmic point across loud and clear.
