Hey Marwa I'm glad that you made it to Putlam. The life style of Afro Sri Lankans shows that they are well accepted by Sri Lankan society. That's why they are disappearing as they are mixed with Locals. Also their houses show the signs that they enjoy quality life in Sri Lanka. Also they are not confined to one job as they do different types of jobs for their living. So there is no racism, no discrimination. This is the real image of Sri Lanka which is different from what you see and hear in Western Media.
Darshana I love ❤️ this video and I would love to contact this family in your country I live in London England 🇬🇧 and I would love to visit them and help them
Can you give my number to the young man who showed marwa the village has he got a phone? I can help him really it was so ❤️ warming to watch his behaviour
When I finally travel to Sri Lanka, I will visit this village - warm people, what you see is what you get; very communal, very loving, very welcoming, very respectful - everyone supporting each other. The houses are decent, and they have water and electricity. Another good job enlightening us on how Afro-Africans live in Sri Lanka. Great job, Marwa, my neighbor from huko Nyumbani.
Wow this village is so neat and peaceful. No homeless, no addicts walking on the streets like zombies, no pant-sagging dudes on the streets, no cops looking for who to bully, and no half-naked entitled females. I would definitely love to visit!
Do you think everywhere around the world like NY city or San Francisco? Well Marwa is showing you what it like to live in a village of Sri Lanka or Africa... All organic and clean air to breathe!
I must say, Africans living in Africa need to watch these people and the Indian village you visited. These people are very kind, welcoming, genuine and generous just like we used to be 30 years ago. Our people are changing for the worst.
Yes many young in Africa are changing for the worse. It is becoming alarming. Something has to be done quickly or it will be late to correct the bad curve.
Hi marwa thank you for supporting Sri Lanka your videos will show the world the best of Sri Lanka we have a diversity in our country we are mixed religions living in harmony we have everything in our country but problem is corrupt politicians looting other then that Sri Lanka is a very beautiful country we know very little about African communities in Sri Lanka they lives very remote part in the country and they forgetting their African roots they speak my language singhala very well Evan I’m surprised there well adapted to our country now out side they look African but inside their Sri Lankan now they live peacefully with us so still people like you can still help them giving them recognition if more people like you come to visit them from Africa they will feel happy and if you can help the kids get better English knowledge so they can speak about their community and thank you again for visiting Sri Lanka in this difficult times and support us to show our beautiful country to the world ❤
This is what I am talking about. This content is King. Like nothing, I have seen before, not on National Geographic. His perspective is real and the content is remarkable. The people are real. You get to see what it is like to be there. The people are so welcoming. Marwa is a content creator. He knows how to greet people and he looks so comfortable there and so engaging. This is epic. Keep doing what you are doing. You can't find this kind of content anywhere. You won't find it on the Travel channel. You won't find it on HGTV. OMG. He is on to something big.
These people are so humble and so peaceful! I love them and I love their village. Marwa you are an inspiration. God bless you, prosper you, and keep you, wherever you go. Blessings Always!
Oow great!!!!! Good job marwa for finding out our brothers and sisters out there...please show them the one love from African people...we will never forget them though they are a thousand miles away from Mother Africa

Along time I knew about blacks in India and in Sri Lanka. Marwa you set the path for all brothers and sisters to follow in reaching out to every African’s around the globe.
Cargills & Millers is the first Mall ever established by the British in the heart of the Colombo City 150 years ago, and it is still there as it was looking 150 years ago. Now they have established a new business, a supermarket chain with the name as "Cargills Food City", and this is where Shanchana works as an Assistant Manager.
Happy to see you were able to meet Afro Sri Lankans in Puttalam. Looking forward to see more videos from Sri Lanka. We watched all the videos filmed by your sister Mwango. Thanks bro!
Afro people are all over the world. We are the natives of this continent. Some countries managed to kill our people off while some left a few. We were all over the world before we were rudely attacked and enslaved the ships did not just take our people from Africa, but they were taking our people from everywhere and dropping them off wherever they wanted. Some were even already on American soils so they uprooted them and dropped them even in Africa. Never forget that the first inhabitants of London were Afro people. They don’t teach you this in history cause they want the narrative that were been nobodies to stick! Just know, we been great people when they were still slaughtering one another, we were already civilized!
Marwa this was such a beautiful trip! The family were so welcoming! Everyone was so nice and wonderful! Thank you for yet another great trip with you . Also the outfit was fabulous! The village was so peaceful and I am glad to see these Afro communities! Thanks for sharing! -- Official Lauren Brown
Well done Marwa, we shall always remember them. We hope they visit Africa in future too. Those are the people you should invite when you open your house in future including the ones you met in India and many others of course
Thank you again Sir. I saw the 1st part of the video, now the 2 second part. I loved it, enjoyed it. I am and Indian from the Caribbean. The people in my country are also is very integrated. I believe it’s all in God’s wonderful plan, that we all live in love and harmony. I knew that there were Afro communities in India, but never knew that it existed in Sri Lanka. Thanks to your “ documentary “, I am wiser of this fact. These wonderful people are so friendly, peaceful and welcoming. May God continue to bless them, and you too Sir. Keep up the good works. ❤️🙏🏽
Wonderful job Marwa. May the Almighty God continue to bless and prosper you in all your journey. Only God can rewards you back the way you are blessing humanity. Keep safe and God bless.
Hi Marwa this was an amazing and emotional journey with you.I love the village and people. The young children were very courteous. I am watching from New York. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
@29:28 I have 2 confess I got emotional when the kid asks Marwa if he will come back. I know the Continent in so many areas is going through a lot but I think the African Union should have a plan for the melanated people outside of Africa chiefly in those developping countries!
@@kingknights5107 What i am getting at is not include them in a formal way in the AU. They are already part of structured and sovereign nations. Am trying to see how the AU can reach out to them in order 2lay the foundation of exchanges and get them exposed to Africans through various channels. I had in mind how the then Senegalese President Senghor organised the first Black Arts World festival in 1968 which showcased all black people throughout the planet .
The authenticity of these vlogs is what brings me back everytime whenever I got notified of a new upload. Keep exploring new places and put more smiles on our faces. Regards from Japan.
I love your family 👪 ❤ I felt your heart and humbleness. The LORD is good. I can't believe how much time I am taken to watch yours and Dee's video. Awesome education 👏
Bro when you travel pay attention to what the people that live there are telling you, cultures are deferent and it can be dangerous if you don't listen, for example Julie told you you should not say Hallo to women on the streets it's considered rude @6:30 @34:40 you are complimenting a woman on the streets about her glasses, she had to tell you again, when someone is answering your questions wait for them to finish talking before you speak over them,it's called listening, that is why you make the same mistakes,be patient.
