The last drive of the Walsall Trolleybuses 

My great grandfather was the first person to travel on a Walsall trolleybus, I still have the newspaper cutting.

The last trolleybuses ran in October 1970, when I was just four months old!!!

Bring back the trolley buses to the Midlands 💖

Anyway, please allow a mere Brummie to say how much I enjoyed it. I never actually rode on a Walsall trolley 'bus - only Wolverhampton ones, where I grew up. But I did attend the *last day* of Walsall trolley 'buses, & took a few b&w shots...

I drove one of these in the video (862, TDH912) at the Black Country Living Museum for a few years.

I remember going to Walsall shopping with my parents when I was a kid and being fascinated by these!
