Eivor your voice gives me goosebumps and anytime you sing while Uhtred is hurting, I hurt even more! 😭

Such a great show, really brought the history of Britain and Scandinavia to the fore front, the music composition from John and the vocals from Eivor really made the hairs stand up when I first watched the show and got me hooked into the Series. The acting from such a promising young group of actors and others more experienced took me to that time in history, given the low budget compared to other films and shows this British show punched well and truly above its weight like a berserker in battle....👍

I'm so glad Eivør is getting proper recognition for her work on TLK. She's been one of my favorite artists for ages; I started watching the show because I found out she did the music on it, and I fell in love with it so quickly.

When I heard Eivør at "The Last Kingdom" I was amazed. I thought who was singing that? I started looking and found the most amazing and talented singer.

I discovered Eivór right around late 2015. My mom came to visit me soon thereafter. I made her (in all good fun) sit and watch several videos on RU-vid of Eivór. Made her a fan. 🥰 When Eivór sings, it touches your soul. 🦋

This was really interesting to watch! I love the fact that an actress was herself asking questions to the musicians that makes music for the show in which she play, making it even more interesting. I enjoyed learning more about all this. Thank you Eivør, John and Eliza for sharing a nice discussion with us!

Eliza Butterworth is a very beautiful woman and a great actress the difference between her queen character and here is amazing she looks 30 years younger! And so beautiful and what a great voice!

Thank you Queen Aelswith for your great questions, and John Lunn for your comments, in trying to get to the essence of the spiritual ecstacy that Eivør manages to evoke! I really wanted to hear more about the origin of the "rhythmic throat-singing", as John calls it. It grabbed me by the throat (as it were) when I first heard it in Trollabundin. And then I wondered about why I wasn't surprised, it was as if the sound had been waiting for me to hear it, and when I heard it, it was not like I have never heard anything like it, but more like Yes this is the sound I have been expecting to hear after 55 years of seeking intense musical listening experiences. I may not have been exactly surprised, but I was very very moved, because I seemed to have arrived somewhere that I always felt was out there. A bit like John says about the shamanic drum, you dont find the drum, the drum finds you...

I absolutely love Eivor Pálsdóttir as the voice of Laufey/Fay the mother in God Of War. Memories of mother brings a tear to my eye everytime it's just beautiful.

I love all the music in this show and John Lunn and Eivor are just the best! The way they combined music with the visual scenes from the show are just perfection. The top one where they accomplished that was the music they put together in that beautiful scene when Uthred and King Alfred have their last conversation! The music was detrimental to the drama and emotion that was conveyed during the dialog! It was just brilliant! So, thank you for this! Bravo!
