All these different knitting corners on RU-vid have made me feel less alone in the craft. I don’t have any knitters in my day to day life so it’s been nice to see your projects and inspirations for knitting ❤.
I made the Tamarack for my husband a few years ago. He loved it and still wears it regularly! It is quite long so would definitely recommend measuring as you go. Loved seeing your recent makes - you are inspiring me to make a pillow! Hope you have a great rest of the holiday season! ❤️
Both the pillow and blouse are great. I was skeptical about that fabric in a shirt, but your pattern choice was especially good with the large scale print.
oh my gosh, what a great pillow! the blouse is awesome too--nothing better than a rad thrifted fabric! cheers for the festive season from southern Wisconsin!
Happy holidays Ahna!!!!! Loved watching your channel so much this year, looking forward to your “everything i made in 2023” videos! Your sewing makes me want to get a sewing machine so bad haha ❤
the pillow is fabulous, seasonal or year round it looks great and the stripes are just fabulous!! I'm thinking of making a Margaret Holzmann geometric blanket for my January cast on. I love your Magnolia. I knit my granddaughter one as a swatch in case I wanted make myself one, after seeing yours I'm going for it in the off white color!! Happy Holidays and I look forward to your 2024 podcasts
Everything you showed us today was just particularly beautiful, the blouse you made is exquisite !! and yes of course I would love to see everything you made this year ! Happy Holidays to all ❤
Your garment looks beautiful! I have to knit the magnolia bloom, but need to figure out why my neck seems tighter than most. You look gorgeous in all your projects. All the best, Kimberly
Love your videos Ahna! I’m always excited when there’s a new one to watch. One video I’d be interested in hearing your perspective on are affordable yarn options & possibly matched with popular patterns that interest you. I hear you mention knit picks a few times and I’ve never tried their yarn. I absolutely love the pillow and may need to cast that on. It’s also inspiring me to look for other ways to add knits to home decor
I love love love this idea! There’s a lot of affordable yarn I genuinely love and have talked about here and there but it would be nice to make a dedicated video for it. Thanks for the idea 😃
I LOVE how amazingly your pillow turned out!!! The contrasting icord edge and the bold stripes on the back are both incredible 🤌 what a stunning piece and it's been fun watching how it's been unfolding!
Great episode! That pillow is so sweet and cozy looking. Inspiring! Have you seen the blanket with the Amsterdam houses? The same idea. I love little houses no matter the shape of them.
Merry Christmas Ahna🎄 our knitting community here on RU-vid is a true comfort. I also feel it’s a wonderful tool every knitter needs. Have learned so much about construction, color choices, color work. The inspiration alone brings me joy. As Sarah from Its-a-Sarah would say. Your channel gives me heart jumping moments. ❤️🧶. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Another wonderful podcast and I would love to see all your finished projects you made this year and your thoughts on them. I always love seeing podcasters put out an episode like that.
Thank you for a ton of inspiration and joy in 2023 !!! 💃⭐️🧶🧶🧶❣️🙏wishing you, Mitch and your gorgeous dogs the most wonderful holiday with an even better 2024 to come 🎄🏡🎄🙏🙏🙏
I loved the pillow you made! The front looks very cute and festive, but the colors on the back look equally great! I hope you continue with your own color experimentation; you have a good eye for color harmony! As for the videos that summarize what you made, I would love to see them (both knitted and sewn garments). I am especially interested in your own reflections and feedback about the patterns and garments: how they withstand wear and washing and whether you would change anything about the way you made them (bottom-up or top-down, stitch pattern choice, etc.), the yarn choice, or possible modifications you would like to add in order to improve the fit. In other words, what would you do differently, knowing what you know now after making all these garments? I know most well-written and well-constructed patterns turn out great, but not all the time. I love it when knitters share honest feedback and describe how they solved (or attempted to solve) a fit issue or used different materials and how it worked. Even those of us who've been knitting for 10-20+ years continue to learn and experiment; it's great to hear about challenging experiences of other knitters/sewists and the solutions they found. I don't think of it as just criticisms of patterns but more of a problem-solving approach we can use to adapt a cute pattern to our own bodies and available materials.
