If you continue playing after the game restarts all the dialogue text turns red. I think there is more to the game past that

No? It's literally the entire game, the point is that it ends up back at the beginning, hence the thing right before it where Garfield says "you'll break eventually" or something like that, and makes him repeat what is "the game" forever until he breaks
