@Punch Down King I disagree as much as I like Ellie, Abby easily beat Ellie and Dina when Dina intervened when they fought in the theater, at the end Abby was very weak due to lack of food and water. And Ellie barely was able to beat her then, I think it’s just the hate that almost everyone has for Abby that would agree that Ellie would beat Abby easy. But when they fought specially in the theater, it showed that Ellie was no match for Abby.

There is a scene where an enemy talk about his dead son. It was heartbreaking.

Ocrafter Cyberathlete i enjoyed the gameplay more so because of it. I really appreciated all the extra detail put into the in game dialogue between enemies, the extremely detailed animations and even all the sound effects, it all adds to the atmosphere and ND did a great job on that. The story on the other hand...

@ My only problem with the story is when they decided to make you play as Abby, it just kinda disconnects you from getting immersed when you spend the first few hours of the game as Ellie and then right at a very crucial moment, it takes a sudden turn and makes you play as the character who has essentially been the antagonist until that point. I’d have made it so there was two campaigns, an Abby campaign and an Ellie campaign, with the prologue (Jackson) and the Epilogue (The Resort with The Snatchers, or whatever they’re called) being mostly the same with some minor differences depending on which campaign you’re playing. Other than that I didn’t have a problem with the story, especially on Abbys side.

I remember when I was fighting wolves with Dina I saw the opportunity to jump on someone. I was on a second story building and there was a little building in between me and the person. So I sprinted jumped across to reach the little building then jumped and took out the wolf. I felt so amazing.

There really wasn't that many changes to combat tbh, not that there was anything wrong with it in the first game. You're most likely not going to be playing like the guy in the video, you need to mostly focus on stealth takedowns and picking people off with silent weapons to conserve ammo and resources (just like the first game, unless you played on easy or something). This guy obviously played this part of the game multiple times and knows exactly how the AI enemies behave and doesn't care about saving any ammo/resources

This is more than doable in the first game.

Same here. All I did were takedowns. Maybe an arrow or two. The silencer on the pistol was also a welcome addition. But being loud stealthy, that’s crazy.

The first area is total bullshit because the red door at the end takes so long to fucking open so playing smart and ghosting the enemies, causing distractions to divert the dogs from your scent etc is pointless as the mi ute you try to open the red door you're instantly seen. So you're forced into combat

I only play on normal difficulty not because I'm a wuss but I don't want to be struggling with the game I just want the game to give me a challenge and let me have fun.

@@madalindragan7722 yeah, I assumed since I haven't seen an equivalent move by Abby. My question was how to do it. I figured it out. You just have to drop on top of the enemy and the animation happens automatically. I thought you had to drop and hit square since that's the knife button.
