@@jonts7 Same, and I still can't shake that habit,I always think silent takedowns and punches are the way to save recourses and not get hit but at the end I have too much and waste loot, never played the 2nd game but I'd imagine it's somewhat similar to the first game
100% yess. Im ngl. Ive never even seen anyone else say this. I loved playing this game the first two times cause it was like a movie. Then from there on out y'know, it became a video game again.
I don't know why the people hated so hard, it was amazing! I haven't played it because i have Xbox, but I saw the entirely game and i understand that the ending was uncomfortable but it doesn't deserve all the hate it received
@@user2004k He seems to, though. His opinion is valid and properly explained. Sure he'll never play it on Xbox but if he enjoys watching it that's cool. I enjoy watching Jacksepticeye fan-girding on graphics and his funny face on brutal moments and its a game I plan to play. You don't like it - perfectly fine but please don't go confront or insult people who like the game, that's just stupid and time-wasteful. Have a good day!
Best survival game ever in terms of raw gameplay. The mechanics are simple yet offer so enough depth, the animations are so fluid, the music and voice acting set the scene perfectly. Every new arena I was put into had me excited into what types of enemies and patrols they had. Am I going to pick a vantage spot and take em out? set some traps and lure them in? Lure infected to them and let them battle it out while I sneak by? Or my personal favorite, shoot everyone’s knee and hit em with a bat.
Couldnt have said it better myself. The story leaves a little to be desired but the actual graphics and gameplay are simply amazing. I have never seen a game with graphics this crisp
It's because for Abby she builds up momentum when she kills multiple people in a short period of time, so I guess that means cooler and more brutal executions
There's no execution you can choose against them, it's all coincidence and their natural way. Not like RE5/6 where you can choose specific body part to shot and there you have the execution result you want to see/ you want them to use.
This is amazing . My game play was nothing like this. I’ll never play grounded so this was great to see. Now I want to go back and actually use those stun bombs and trap mines.
You should try grounded, i tried it on my fourth play through and it only took around 3 days and I’m an average gamer, try it on your own but if you most likely find it two difficult watch grounded speed runs and it shows you how to pass every main encounter easily in the story, hope this suggestion helps :)
Definitely go grounded. Obstacle is the way. "The greater the difficulty, the more glory in surmounting it. Skillful pilots gain their reputation from storms and tempests" - Epictetus In my opinion in some games harder difficulties bring more content and immersion to the game, more "feeling", more "bang for the buck" in some sense. But I would love to play through the game on easy too and just go Rambo mode all the time :D It's good that games like Darksouls, Sekiro and so forth have a market, even if they didn't rise to Skyrims sale figures. Also, logically playing on harder difficulties should benefit improving your cognitive abilities, since the challenge is harder.
Keep your weapons for the monsters and use your knife on the people, mostly. Trap mines are necessary to cover yourself where an enemy can sneak up behind you on a stairs or in some doorway. A trap mine was a comfort to me taking out the Scar house on the water, I sneaked up the stairs and took them out with arrows, you don't want a big lad coming up.behind you with a pick axe. I don't know how grounded players play without listen mode i think it's great. I love the shooting the legs then whacking them. And the jumping off buildings onto people!
When this game first came out, there were so many whiners complaining about how they'd ruined the best franchise ever....this game was amazing. This video is legit. Thanks for sharing.
@@nhdnhd6710 I don't just consider it based on game play. I think the story was excellent too. In fact, I think it was even better than the story in part 1.
vietbond please tell me how? Respectfully I wanna know why you think that as I think part 2 has lots of flaws, especially abbys terrible Seattle day 3 which was just done just for the sake of havin Abby have something to do.
With how dynamic and brutal and detailed the combat is in this game, I don’t know how people can call this a “bad video game” just because they don’t understand the story
Yeah. The story is phenomenal. It deals with the fractured moralities and lack of understanding between both characters that lead them into turmoil in equally tragic ways.
@@Tarnished-bn5gq It also had a meaningful callback system in terms of certain events and chapters happening in reverse ways when looking at the plot for Part 1 and Part 2. The winter chapters have the same "Wolf among sheep" dynamic and the ends of the game both deal with making a choice opposite of the initial plan. Its great to see Abby commit a huge wrong in the beginning and we follow her attempt at redemption, while on the flipside we watch as Ellie descends into a darkness that proves she spent too much time with Joel. Its refreshing to see comments like this because this is one of the few times where most people that don't enjoy the story, refuse to get what its trying to say and focus on dumb shit, like thinking anyone is a good person - especially Joel who doomed the world and manipulates a woman younger than him because he has loss issues (like literally everyone in that world).
@@ghoulish6125 indeed. Abigail actually didn’t do anything wrong, as Joel was the main antagonist. It was Ellie that gradually became an antagonist throughout part 1 and part 2.
Everytime I try to do it on the PS4, I accidentally shoot the enemy or it gets away smh I don't know how to release the enemy to a clicker after I grab one by pressing triangle! If anyone knows what button I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what button to press in order to pull this off I would greatly appreciate it
That was beautiful to watch. Really excellent gameplay. Shows you've put attention to learning AI habits, and your aiming is spot on. Also didn't know you could feed clickers like that!
It’s so satisfying to know that a lot of these kills I’ve made just trying things out after beating the game a couple times. It’s replay value is amazing. Love the channel y’all. I always like to watch and compare or reenact.
Your skills in TLOU 2 is second to none. inspirational to pull off some of those moves. Keep killing them. Don't quit putting out master pieces. 7:19 was hilarious like all hell
Both Ellie and Abby are my two favorite characters in this series. Ellie is a morally grey character that thinks she’s fighting for vengeance and her own longevity, while Abigail is a flawed protagonist that fights against those whom let selfishness take them over and harm innocents (which is why she killed Joel), however her wrath had corrupted her, causing her to receive clarity, or a horrible death at the end of TLOU2. I really can’t wait to see how this series ends with TLOU3. The story and combat are both fucking incredible.
Yes! This is how the game should be played! Guns Blazing! The game really shines when you are down with only few bullets! I had so much fun with this game!
Luring the AI with shots and molotovs and decoying by silencer shooting glass and other things is brilliant! So many combinations and possibilities built into games, you could play any section again completely differently from the way you played last time. There is one bush in The Resort chapter I used over and over to stealth kill half a dozen soldiers on Hard level - none of them twigged I was hiding there. Thank God for AI that is just stupid enough to let you enjoy some butchering.
